April 8, 2025 – Paramount+ today announced that it picked up a third season of the acclaimed original comedy series COLIN FROM ACCOUNTS, exclusively for Paramount+ in the United States. Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer return to write, executive produce and star in the new season. Seasons one and two were met with critical acclaim and each continue to hold a 100% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
“We’re very excited to bring you season three of our show,” said Brammall and Dyer. “To be honest, with the way we ended season two it would have been weird not to make a third, so here we are. We promise we won’t leave you hanging like that again. Probably.”
COLIN FROM ACCOUNTS is a romantic comedy about flawed, funny people choosing each other and embracing the all-too-relatable chaos of modern life. In addition to Dyer and Brammall, the season two cast features Emma Harvie, Genevieve Hegney, Michael Logo, Helen Thomson, Darren Gilshenan, Annie Maynard, Tai Hara and Glenn Hazeldine, along with Celeste Barber, Virginia Gay, Justin Rosniak, John Howard, Lynne Porteus and Broden Kelly.
COLIN FROM ACCOUNTS is commissioned by the Foxtel Group and produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios. April 8, 2025 – SHOWTIME® today announced that award-winning actresses, Phylicia Rashad (The Beekeeper, This is Us), Wendy Raquel Robinson (The Game, Poppa’s House), and Karrueche Tran (Claws, Bel Air) will join the season seven cast of the original series, THE CHI in guest starring roles.

THE CHI is a timely coming-of-age story centering on a group of residents on the South Side of Chicago who become linked by coincidence but bonded by the need for connection and redemption. Produced entirely in its namesake city, THE CHI is produced by 20th Television.
Season six was record-breaking for THE CHI with the drama series delivering its most-watched season yet on streaming, surging nearly 25% over the previous season.
This season, with Alicia at the helm, the pivotal women of THE CHI rise to reclaim their power. Yet, as loyalties are tested and new rivalries are stoked, it becomes clear that there’s only one crown and it will come at a heavy cost.
Phylicia Rashad will play “Renee,” one of the few people who sees Pastor Zeke for who he really is and can get through to him. Wendy Raquel Robinson will play “Riley Dalton,” sweet but also direct. She has suffered great loss, which allows her to help others during the most trying times in their lives. Karrueche Tran will play “Zuri,” a woman who, no matter how much she’s trying to fix her problems, trouble seems to find her.

The Thundermans: Undercover is a brand-new spinoff series based on characters from the original live-action show. The half-hour series follows Phoebe and Max as they are sent undercover to handle a new threat in the beachside town of Secret Shores and bring Chloe along to develop her superhero talent. The Thundermans: Undercover airs regularly Wednesdays at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.
The Thundermans: Undercover stars original series cast members Kira Kosarin as “Phoebe,” Jack Griffo as “Max,” and Maya Le Clark as “Chloe.” The show also stars Daran Norris as “Thunderford,” and Dana Snyder as the voice of “Dr. Colosso,” as well as new cast members Kinley Cunningham as “Booch” and Nathan Broxton as “Jinx.”

Starglow and Nickelodeon partnered late last year to develop children and family-friendly podcasts. Nickelodeon, Starglow
Nickelodeon believes the future of podcasting is in children and family-friendly programming.
According to a recent white paper from Wondery, Dentsu, and Edison Research, more than 100 million U.S. consumers listen to a podcast on a weekly basis. Nearly half (46%) of the Americans surveyed said podcasts were their “favorite form of entertainment.”
But Nickelodeon really wants to tap into audio for kids and families. At the end of last year, the company partnered with Starglow, a podcast network that specializes in family and kids co-listening content. Nickelodeon developed podcasts for some of Nick Jr.’s most popular franchises, including Dora the Explorer, Blue Clue’s, and Paw Patrol.
Along with creating new podcasts, the partnership allows for Nickelodeon to tap into Starglow’s advertisers. Under the partnership, Nickelodeon produces ads while Starglow handles the back-end operations for campaigns.

Starglow Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder Jed Baker launched the network in 2023. Before Starglow, Baker worked as an agent at United Talent Agency representing podcasters like Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper, Crime Junkie’s Ashley Flowers, and iHeartMedia.
Baker noticed a glaring white space in the audio space when it came to programming for children and families, which inspired him to start his own network.
“It was booming, but it was so decentralized,” Baker told ADWEEK. “We raised Starglow’s ad venture vehicle to elevate the space. We brought together some of the most beloved and trusted podcasts in the kids and family space and created the largest network focused on co-listening to make it easier for audiences to find great stories and for brands to connect.”
Advertisers go all in on family-friendly podcasting
Baker said Starglow started getting attention from brands once the company had around 50 series that generated 300 million yearly ad impressions. Penguin Random House, Toyota, Nintendo, and Squarespace are some of the brands that have advertised on the network’s programming.
Baker said many of the network’s advertisers want simple, 60-second ads read by hosts that can be targeted by region. He said Starglow has worked with brands like Netflix for such custom content.
“We are doing host-read ads for a lot of companies, which is generally what people want the most,” Baker said. “But there are a lot of companies out there that want pre-recorded slots to be associated with brands that families really trust and are part of their daily routines as opposed to just putting in a radio slot and calling it a day. Through contextual targeting, we can be a lot more efficient with their ad dollars and make sure there’s no wasted impressions.”
Baker cited SiriusXM research from 2023 showing that parents were 3.3 times more likely to pay attention to podcast ads than traditional radio ads. The same data found that parents were 2.4 times more likely to pay attention to podcast ads than social media ads. And 75% of parents reported discovering a product or service through a podcast ad.
He added that advertising revenue has grown especially in the family co-listening space.
Nickelodeon sees success with family co-listening
Alex Reeds, Senior Vice President (SVP) of growth and operations for Nickelodeon’s digital and unscripted studio, said that it was critical to work with Starglow when entering the podcast space.
“When we met with Jed, it was clear that he and the team at Starglow were not only experts in the podcast market, but also big fans of the work we were doing at Nickelodeon,” Reeds said. “The team has established a strong position in the kids’ audio market and have leveraged that to help us grow our podcasts by utilizing their network, as well as providing us valuable advice along the way.”
According to research that Reeds’ team conducted in 2023, only about 1 in 10 preschoolers listened to podcasts at the time. But, almost 80% of parents were interested in listening with their preschooler, while that share was higher—almost 90%—among those who already listened to podcasts.
“When executed well, podcasts can be highly valuable content for families,” Reeds said. “They can help kids develop listening skills, fuel imagination, and provide screen-free fun. For families, they can create shared experiences and even become treasured routines. They provide Nickelodeon the opportunity to expand its role in families’ lives and bring our stories and characters to life with immersive audio.”
From a creative standpoint, audio ultimately provides an intimate and personal experience for brands to connect with listeners.
“When advertisers can understand families’ listening habits and needs, they can find the right partnerships that connect with this audience and do so with their favorite characters, such as Dora or the Paw Patrol pups,” Reeds said. “Given that it’s so early in this game, it also allows advertisers to potentially own a space in a world that’s becoming ever more fragmented.”

Back in February, Nickelodeon revealed that it was in the process of developing a Victorious spinoff. The new iteration will take fans back to Hollywood Arts, but instead follow Daniella Monet's character, Trina Vega, who returns to her "old stomping grounds as the newest teacher at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school."
She told cohosts Anthony Gargiula and Jonathan Tilkin, “It was super super super important to me that I had their [former Victorious cast members’] support.”
Monet got to tell her former cast members and friends personally about the spinoff. She says, “The conversations that I had with them filled me up in a way that I just didn’t expect.”
Monet also spotlights one former cast member’s reaction in particular. “Ari [Ariana Grande] showed up in a way and prefaced things in a way that made me look at the whole new experience in a really amazing, purposeful light, and I’m really grateful for that,” she gushes.
Whilst it sounds like the Victorious sequel, which is currently under the working title Hollywood Arts, will mainly feature a new cast of characters, it's currently unclear whether other Victorious cast members will be returning. Victoria Justice, who played Trina's sister, Tori, and Avan Jogia, who played student Beck, often Jade's boyfriend, in the original series have both said they're open to returning for the new show. However, Elizabeth Gillies, who played Jade West, has said that she's not currently involved in the project, although she's “really glad Daniella’s carrying on this legacy,” according to The Reporter.
Fans are speculating that Matt Bennett may be likely to appear again as Robbie Shapiro. He currently tours the U.S. as a DJ for his Party 101 tour, where he’s been known to play nostalgic hits from Victorious and other Nickelodeon shows.
Daniella Monet and Avan Jogia recently had a mini Victorious reunion at former co-star Elizabeth Gillies’ Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors, in which she plays Audrey.
Monet posted pictures on Instagram from the event—including one where she, Jogia, and Gillies hilariously recreate the viral Spiderman meme. In her caption, Monet writes, “We have this thing, it’s special. I love them so much.”
