A reboot of Nickelodeon's hit noughties comedy series Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide has stalled.
Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide follows the lives of Ned (Devon Werkheiser), Cookie (Daniel Curtis Lee) and Moze (Lindsey Shaw) and their adventures in James K. Polk Middle School. The show deals with handling academic subjects, as well as social problems such as friends, lockers, projects, and tests. Each episode focuses on one main issue students normally encounter in school while providing tips on how to handle these situations, both comical and serious. The series originally ran for 54 episodes across three seasons between September 12, 2004 – June 8, 2007, becoming a firm fan favorite.
Over the last several years, Devon, along with the show's original creator, Scott Fellows, have been trying to get adult-focused Ned's Declassified reboot off the ground.
The pilot for the reboot would of seen Ned, Cookie and Moze struggling to adjust to their lives as adults, just out of college and needing to reboot their lives. Cookie would have been very tech successful working at a company, but miserable; Moze would have been just coming out of a major relationship in which she got engaged, and would be just finishing her anger management course; and Ned would have just quit his latest endeavor and is now sleeping on Cookie's couch. Between the ending of Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide and the beginning of the reboot, Ned and Moze would have dated each other for a while, with Moze leaving the guys in the pilot.
At the beginning of the pilot, Ned is despondent and is unable to give his pals any new tips, however, in an effort to reboot and rebuild their lives, Ned decides it's time to start the Ned's Declassified Adult Survival Guide.
Things were going well, however, Nickelodeon eventually decided to pass on the project.
Then, in 2023, Devon, Daniel and Lindsey partnered with PodCo to launch a nostalgia-based Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide rewatch podcast titled Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide, which quickly became a hit with fans thanks to the cast sharing behind-the-scenes stories - which often went viral - and guest interviews.
In the first episode of the latest season of Ned's Pod, Devon revealed that he saw this as a way to getting a reboot greenlit, and it worked - Nickelodeon and Paramount saw the popularity of the podcast and were once again interested in reviving the property.
Then, in the middle of last year, Paramount announced that it was planning to merge with another company - with Skydance Media eventually winning the bidding - and were to make significant cutbacks, including with its workforce. Unfortunately, this resulted in most of the Paramount team working on the reboot with Devon, Daniel and Lindsey being "fired", effectively putting an end of the planned reboot once again.

After taking a brief break, the hit Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide podcast is set to return for a brand new season on Wednesday, March 26, with new episodes set to be released every Wednesday!
Captioning a new trailer on YouTube, the Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide said: "[t]he wait is over, Ned Heads! We’re back, we’re independent, and we’re bringing you the most exciting season yet! 🎉 This time, it’s all on OUR terms, and we’re taking things to a whole new level.
"Expect more laughs, more nostalgia, more unfiltered convos, and epic guests—dropping EVERY WEDNESDAY on YouTube! Plus, we’ve got exclusive content and behind-the-scenes access over on our new Patreon!"
Update (3/27) - In their first episode back, Devon Werkheiser explained that Nickelodeon and Paramount were in talks with the cast about a potential Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide reboot, however, the Paramount/Skydance merger effectively killed the project.
Launched by PodCo in February 2023, each episode of the Ned's Declassified Podcast Survival Guide invites listeners to join Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide stars Devon Werkheiser (Ned), Daniel Curtis Lee (Cookie) and Lindsey Shaw (Moze) as they rewatch their hilarious adventures on the series, share their own ups and downs from middle school to adulthood, and chat with special guests throughout the podcast.
However, back in November, the gang revealed that Ned's Pod would be going on a short hiatus following some big changes behind-the-scenes.
In a video uploaded to the official Ned's Pod YouTube channel, Devon, Daniel and Lindsey have revealed that they have now separated from PodCo, and will now be managing the podcast themselves.
During the video, they explained that as they themselves didn't know what the future of the podcast would look like, they would be taking a short break to figure things out, promising listeners that they'd be back soon, with the video's description saying "2025". The gang also take the opportunity to thank viewers for tuning in each week.
At the very end of the video, the guys tease some "exciting" news, with Devon going on to explain that when they first started the podcast, they hoped that it would lead to a reboot of Ned's Declassified School Survivor Guide, however, Devon was cut off by a testcard before he could get the full word out. Whilst it's not confirmed that Devon was going to "reboot", Devon has hinted in the past that he would like to revive the series with Ned's Declassified Adult Survival Guide, following the gang as adults.

March 26, 2025 – Today Paramount+ announced that it has acquired THE CHILDREN OF OCTOBER 7, a documentary featuring social media activist Montana Tucker, set to premiere April 23. A linear run on MTV will follow.
On October 7, 2023, Israeli children were among the most vulnerable victims impacted by the Hamas attacks. The numbers are staggering: Of the estimated 1,200 Israelis murdered, 37 were children. Of those who survived, over 100 children lost one parent, over 20 lost both parents and more than 35 were kidnapped to Gaza. Hundreds of children were injured, and thousands were displaced from their homes.
THE CHILDREN OF OCTOBER 7 features deeply sensitive conversations between Tucker and these children who bravely share their experiences of trauma and survival as they continue to process the unthinkable – being held captive, witnessing the deaths of their parents and enduring violent invasions of their homes. Alongside Tucker’s support, the children present a poignant and heartfelt depiction of their terrifying experiences.

The Smurfs are heading to the big screen in a brand new adventure this summer, however, Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, Clumsy, and the rest of the Smurfs are back in brand new episodes of The Smurfs season three, starting Saturday, April 19 on Nickelodeon!

However, a new partnership will take SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward and his friends outside of Bikini Bottom to a destination you never saw coming.
Wizards of the Coast has revealed that Secret Lair, from the worlds of Magic: The Gathering will have special collections featuring characters from the SpongeBob SquarePants franchise. The news was first reported by Collider.
The Secret Lair × SpongeBob SquarePants collections go on sale starting March 24 at 9 AM PT as part of the Secret Lair “Our Boss Is On Vacation” Superdrop, and will be available for as long as supplies last.
The collections reflect the personality of each SpongeBob character featured in the cards and give them special features that match their storylines and overall behavior in the animated series. Sandy Cheeks, for example, gets a Legendary Creature card that is indestructible and whose spell can't be countered — which reflects Sandy's super-powerful martial arts prowess. Patrick Star, on the other hand, is a pretty strong creature (6/5) whose art and lack of special skills make it clear that he has no idea what he's doing.
The collections are divided into three drops: Secret Lair × SpongeBob SquarePants: Legends of Bikini Bottom, which celebrates the core of each character and makes them some of Magic's most powerful cards through the vision of artists Caleb Meurer and Gregg Schigiel. Magic: The Gathering Is About To Go Bigger Than Ever
Fans and players of Magic: The Gathering know fully well that the franchise often rolls out collections that celebrate pop culture icons. In the last couple of years alone, special collections were released that celebrated The Lord of the Rings, Marvel superheroes and even Monty Python and the Holy Grail.
Aside from the new SpongeBob collection, Magic fans have a lot to celebrate: Fans will soon be able to master the elements with the MTG Avatar: The Last Airbender set, the online game is as popular as ever, and the universe is about to expand with a movie and a TV series in the works through Hasbro and Legendary Entertainment. The series is set to take shape at Netflix with Star Trek: Picard's showrunner Terry Matalas at the helm, but more details are yet to come regarding cast and release windows for both the series and the movie.

The official Peppa Pig Threads page has hinted that the baby will be born in June 2025!
Mummy Pig − a mom of two, accomplished author, volunteer firefighter and soon-to-be playwright − appeared on Kelce's podcast to share the "joyous baby news" with everyone. Peppa and little brother George briefly interrupt the interview right when Mummy Pig gets the courage to spill the beans.
"Mummy's on a call, you two," Mummy Pig said on the "Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce" podcast. "Sorry, where was I? Oh yes, the announcement. Well, I'm thrilled to say I'm pregnant. Baby #3 is due in the summer."
Kelce, who is pregnant with her fourth child with husband Jason Kelce, offered her congratulations and some advice to Mummy Pig on the show.
Kelce was quick to ask about Peppa and George after she extended her congratulations to Mummy Pig and the family: "How are Peppa and George doing?"
"In my experience, kids can have lots of different reactions to news like this," Kelce said.
"Oh, yes," Mummy Pig responded. "I saw your picture. They're just taking everything in their stride, really. Peppa says she's an even bigger sister now and I'm an even bigger mummy."
Mummy Pig says that she and her husband have had a "few big feelings" since the news broke, but they talk and reassure Peppa and George as needed. Mummy Pig is also feeling all the feelings, telling Kelce she is excited, nervous, often a bit nauseous and can't go five minutes without needing to go to the restroom.
"It's an exciting change, but it is a big one," Mummy Pig said.
Audiences will get to see Peppa "welcome and adjust to having a new baby sister or brother" throughout Season 10.

Mummy Pig also appeared live from Peppatown on ITV's Good Morning Britain to share the exciting news.
"I'm excited to share that our family is getting even bigger,” Mummy Pig said on the Feb. 27 episode of Good Morning Britain following a brief interruption from a curious Peppa, “because we're having another baby.”
"I'm due in the summer,” she continued, showing her sonogram to the camera, “and we're all so excited."
But while the soon-to-be mom of three expressed that she was “thrilled” about growing their family, she also admitted that welcoming a little one doesn’t come without its challenges.
Indeed, she added that she was “a little overwhelmed at the thought of having three children under five running around, but mostly just completely delighted".
After finding out such big news, Mummy Pig struggled to contain her excitement. And with Peppa’s notoriously inquisitive personality, she admitted that she and her husband “weren’t able to keep it a secret for long.”
"Peppa knew something was going on,” she explained, “and she's such a curious thing. We had to tell her before she popped.”
As for how Peppa, 4, and George, 2, feel about bringing a new baby into the family? Aside from the typical anxieties that come with welcoming a younger sibling, they seemed overall ecstatic about becoming a big sister and big brother, respectively.
"They've had the occasional wobble and worry,” Mummy Pig noted, “but they're mostly so excited.”
And Peppa’s curiosity has only piqued after finding out about her mom’s pregnancy.
"Every day they ask me how big the baby is,” Mummy Pig added with a laugh. “’When is it coming? Does it like dinosaurs and muddy puddles?’ It never stops."
But one question that remains unanswered is what the little one’s name will be. However, Mummy Pig shared that she and Daddy Pig are fond of the idea of waiting to see what feels right.
“I think we’ll find the right name once the baby is here,” she said, “that’s what we did for Peppa and George. But who knows? Every pregnancy and baby is different. If the right name appears, we’ll just know.”
