All that changes when the pink-and-green-haired neighbors next door reveal that they are no ordinary neighbors…they’re Cosmo and Wanda, Fairy Godparents! And they’re coming out of retirement to make all of Hazel’s wishes come true. As well as new characters, the series brings back many from the original series, including Vicky, Mr. Crocker, CJ, and Poof, who now goes by the name of Peri. The series also features many Easter eggs calling back to the original show.

There’s currently no word on whether the show is set to get a second season. The show was given an upfront order of 20 episodes (36 segments), with all of those making up season 1 of the show now aired. It’s likely going to be the case that Paramount Plus and Netflix's viewership plus Nickelodeon viewership goes into making a renewal decision.
