HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Oct. 3, 2024 -- Nickelodeon is letting kids' voices be heard this election season with the return of its Kids Pick the President "Kids' Vote" poll and a brand-new special debuting Monday, Oct. 28. Beginning today, kids can cast their vote for who they want to be the next president at kidspickthepresident.com. The results of the poll will be revealed during the half-hour special, hosted by Nate Burleson (CBS Mornings, NFL Slimetime, The NFL Today) and his 14-year-old daughter, Mia Burleson (NFL Slimetime). The Kids Pick the President "Kids' Vote" is an informal non-scientific poll, meant for entertainment purposes only.

The Kids Pick the President special will premiere Monday, Oct. 28, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT), on Nickelodeon and be available day and date on Paramount+, Nickelodeon YouTube, Nick.com and the Nickelodeon Pluto TV channels (Nick Pluto, 90's Kids TV, Totally Teen). The special will also be available the following day on Nick On Demand.

"The opportunity to host the Kids Pick the President special, alongside my daughter Mia, has opened up our whole family to conversations about the importance of standing up for what we believe in and the power of democracy," said Nate Burleson. "As parents of three, it has always been a priority for me and my wife Atoya to teach our kids that their voices matter--that they not only need to get involved, but stay involved with the issues and topics they care about."

After kids cast their vote for who they want to be the next President of the United States at kidspickthepresident.com, they can download an "I Voted" badge, and learn more about the candidates and electoral process. To further support family conversations in the home, Nickelodeon has partnered with NAMLE (The National Association of Media Literacy Educators) on a guide to provide information and resources for parents around media literacy that will also be available on the site.

Told from a uniquely kid-led POV, the half-hour Kids Pick the President special will platform the issues young people care about most in the 2024 U.S. presidential election. Kids from all sides of the political spectrum will share their personal stories and opinions on topics, including the economy, future of AI and technology, and health.

From the producers of the Emmy®-nominated 6 Days to Air, ¡CASA BONITA MI AMOR! tracks the rise, fall and revival of the beloved Colorado landmark Casa Bonita by SOUTH PARK creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

Casa Bonita opened in 1974 in an unassuming strip mall. The massive “Disneyland of Mexican restaurants” is an Old West and Acapulco-inspired fever dream made famous by its indoor waterfall, cliff divers, and haunted caves. The restaurant was featured in a classic 2003 episode of South Park.

When Trey and Matt learn that Casa Bonita might close its doors for good, they attempt to preserve a crumbling piece of their childhood and Denver history.

Paramount Consumer Products and Experiences UK is set to release a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) collection in collaboration with YouTube superstars The Sidemen.

The exciting new range of TMNT-inspired clothing and boxing accessories will be a key focus of The Sidemen’s new retail store opening in the Birmingham Bullring on the 4th of October.

The range includes a series of 13 exclusive designs on T-shirts, hoodies and jackets alongside a selection of boxing accessories including gloves and wraps.

The launch highlights the enduring popularity of the franchise and its iconic characters amongst a new generation of fans and follows the release of Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the latest chapter in the Turtles’ onscreen adventures airing on Nickelodeon and streaming on Paramount+.

With over 140 million subscribers worldwide, British YouTube group The Sidemen – consisting of internet personalities KSI, Miniminter, Zerkaa, TBJZL, Behzinga, Vikkstar123 and W2S – opened their first physical store in July 2023. Following significant success and support from their fans, their new store is set to open in Birmingham this October.

To mark the launch of the range on the new store’s opening day, costume characters of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo will be at the Bullring at intervals throughout the day. Fans will be able to pose for pictures alongside their reptilian heroes and the famous Shellraiser vehicle to recreate their favourite scenes from the beloved TMNT series.

Hasbro‘s Peppa Pig and Pudsey have sparked a new friendship for this year’s BBC Children in Need campaign with a heartwarming and fun-filled partnership aimed at raising vital funds to support children and families across the UK.

BBC Children in Need believes that every child should have the chance to thrive and be the best they can be. For this to happen they want every child to have someone they can turn to for help or support to overcome challenges they face. The need has never been greater as, right now, the charity is only able to help 1 in 8 of the organisations which apply for funding.

This unique partnership intends to bring joy to children and their families through a series of exciting events and fundraising initiatives, starting this summer and continuing up until the official appeal night on 15th November.

Kicking off the partnership, nurseries and pre-schools across the UK are invited to join both Pudsey and Peppa in hosting their own fundraising parties in support of BBC Children in Need. To encourage fundraising, there are exclusive free Pudsey and Peppa resources available, including activity packs, party decorations, a specially curated Peppa Pig playlist and chances to win more prizes, all designed to inspire and encourage children to get involved and make a positive impact through their fundraising efforts. All materials are available for download on the BBC Children in Need website.

As part of this new partnership, a special Peppa Pig Afternoon Tea Bus Tour was hosted in collaboration with B-Bakery. This exclusive event was a heartfelt way to give back to the charity’s early years programme beneficiaries, offering them a delightful afternoon tea experience aboard the special bus – along with Peppa and Pudsey. The event is just one example of how Peppa Pig is supporting families by creating joyful, memorable moments while underscoring the importance of Children in Need’s mission to change children’s lives across the UK.

Continuing the partnership, from September, two exclusive Peppa Pig apparel items will be available in Asda stores and online, with proceeds directly supporting BBC Children in Need. These items will be featured alongside BBC Children in Need merchandise, offering shoppers a chance to contribute to the cause while celebrating their favourite characters.

New York, NY – October 3, 2024 – Fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender will soon be able to step into the expansive world of the beloved franchise like never before. Paramount Game Studios and Saber Interactive, in collaboration with Avatar Studios, are announcing today that they are developing a new AAA video game title based in the Avatar Legends universe, the franchise label centered on the world first introduced by Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra.

Created for PC and consoles, the action-RPG title will follow a brand-new story, developed in close collaboration with Avatar Studios, which drops players into the world of the franchise where they can take on the role of an all-new, never-before-seen Avatar. Set thousands of years in the past, players can expect to be immersed in a vibrant world, master all four elements, engage in dynamic combat alongside companions, and experience the challenges and decisions that come with being the keeper of balance in the world. The game will include both familiar and new elements from the franchise, offering fans an opportunity to deeply connect to the world and become the hero of this unexplored era.
