Earlier this year, Paramount made the
surprising decision to cancel and pull the Paramount+ Original series
Big Nate from the streaming service and Nickelodeon during its second season run, with the second half of the season not getting to be released on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon, disappointing fans of the show.
In a surprising twist, however, the entirety of Big Nate season two (26 episodes) has now become available to stream on
Apple TV and
Amazon Prime Video. It's currently unknown whether this is a mistake, or whether the streamers picked up the rights to save the series from going unaired.
Both Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video list the new episodes are being released on May 6, 2024, which may suggest that that's when the episodes were originally set to premiere on Paramount+.
