July 15, 2024 – Paramount+ with SHOWTIME today announced that Jodie Turner-Smith joins the cast of the espionage political thriller THE AGENCY (formerly THE DEPARTMENT) for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME as a series regular. THE AGENCY, currently in production in London, is commissioned by Showtime Studios and produced in association with 101 Studios. George Clooney and Grant Heslov will executive produce through Smokehouse Pictures.

The all-new political thriller follows Martian (two-time Academy Award nominee Fassbender), a covert CIA agent, ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to London Station. When the love he left behind reappears, romance reignites. His career, his real identity and his mission are pitted against his heart; hurling them both into a deadly game of international intrigue and espionage. Turner-Smith will play Sami Zahir, a Professor of Social Anthropology who has a history with Martian, played by 2x Academy Award^® nominee Michael Fassbender. She joins previously announced series regulars Jeffrey Wright (Henry) and Richard Gere (Bosko).

Nickelodeon USA and Milkshake! UK Partner For New Preschool Series 'Tim Rex in Space'

The animated preschool show, their first global co-production, will premiere in 2025 on Nickelodeon channels in the U.S. and on Milkshake! in the U.K.

Nickelodeon (U.S.) and Channel 5’s Milkshake! (U.K.) have entered their first global co-production pact for the new preschool series Tim Rex in Space.

Tim Rex in Space is set to premiere in 2025 on Nickelodeon channels in the U.S. and across international markets and on Milkshake! in the U.K. Created and produced by Mint Copenhagen with animation studio Jam Media, the show sees a tyrannosaurus rex tackle adventures with his family and friends in space.

Tim Rex in Space follows a Tyrannosaurus Rex (T-Rex) named Tim, his big brother Tommy, little sister Tia, and triceratops bestie Kai as “they tackle kid-shaped adventures with dino-sized solutions in space,” according to a show description. “Tim and his family live in a unique world comprised of a cluster of asteroids that make up the town of Rumbleton. This intergalactic environment is a quintessential 21st-century suburban town, with each asteroid hosting family homes, cafés, shops, parks, and even a beach. All asteroids are connected by a network of slides, ziplines and trampolines, but can also easily be reached on a quick rocket ride.”

The series features Cassian Swan-Mckee as Tim, Ace Gil as Tommy, Hope Delaney as Tia, and Jamie Smart as Kai. The voice cast also includes Stephen Alan Yorke, Nim Miller, Sophia Nomvete, Jessica Robinson, Alex Carter, and Lorraine Bruce.

August 5, 2024 – Paramount+ today announced the second season of DORA, the original animated preschool series, will premiere on Friday, Sept. 13, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Canada, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, with other international markets to be announced at a later date. Produced by Nickelodeon Animation, the second season features 26 CG-animated 11-minute episodes and follows everyone’s favorite bilingual explorer, Dora, as she continues her epic adventures through the mystical and magical rainforest. Additionally, DORA will make its linear debut Monday, Sept. 16, premiering Monday through Thursday for three consecutive weeks at 11 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon and 5 p.m. (ET/PT) on the Nick Jr. channel. All 26 episodes of the first season are also available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.

In the second season, Dora and her best monkey friend, Boots, encounter new challenges, overcome tricky obstacles, and explore new fantastical territories. Kids will join the iconic Latina heroine on her journey as she meets new friends and helps others, learning inspiring lessons through catchy songs and nonstop laughter.

The series stars Diana Zermeño as Dora; Asher Colton Spence as Boots; Anairis Quiñones as Map and The Fiesta Trio’s Armadillo; Marc Weiner as Swiper; Mike Smith Rivera as Papi; Maria Canals-Barrera as Abuela; Danny Burstein as Grumpy Old Troll and The Fiesta Trio’s Frog and Marmoset; Katarina Sky as Backpack; Donovan Monzon-Sanders as Tico; Tandi Fomukong as Isa; Quintún Muñoz as Benny; Chris Gifford as Big Red Chicken; and Kathleen Herles, the original voice of Dora the Explorer, as Mami. July 15, 2024 - Paramount+ today announced the cast of series regulars set to join Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly in the upcoming Paramount+ original series NCIS: TONY & ZIVA. Produced by CBS Studios, the newest installment of the world’s #1 television franchise has officially begun production in Budapest. NCIS: TONY & ZIVA stars de Pablo and Weatherly, reprising their fan favorite roles of Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo, and reunites them on screen for the first time in 10 years.

In addition to de Pablo and Weatherly starring in the titular roles, the new series regulars joining NCIS: TONY & ZIVA and their roles are as follows:

Isla Gie (Foundation) as TALI: Tony and Ziva’s precocious 12-year-old daughter who is sick of being treated like a child. She’s more intuitive and vigilant than the adults around her give her credit for and she’s ready to prove this to them.
Amita Suman (Shadow and Bone) as CLAUDETTE: The Chief Technical Officer at Tony’s private security company and the only reason the place runs as smoothly as it does. There’s no problem Claudette can’t solve or code she can’t crack.
Maximilian Osinski (Ted Lasso) as BORIS: A Russian ex-pat and a brilliant computer hacker, one of the best and most elusive in the world. Boris lives outside the law and polite society and enjoys the anonymity and freedom that affords.
Nassima Benchicou (Emily in Paris) as MARTINE: A former French intelligence agent with the Directorate-General for External Security (DGSE). She is elegant and cunning, playing both sides of any conflict masterfully to protect her own self-interest.
Julian Ovenden (Bridgerton) as JONAH: A former computer programmer for the NSA and now the Secretary General of Interpol. Charming, decisive and confident, Jonah sees the ways in which the world is broken and knows he can fix it.
Terence Maynard (Coronation Street) as DR. LANG: A deeply experienced therapist, gentle and probing, Dr. Lang treats patients with severe traumas and helps them find comfort and agency.
Lara Rossi (The Watch) as SOPHIE: A highly skilled professional with a background in the Special Air Service (SAS), Sophie brings a unique blend of maternal warmth and hyper-vigilance to her role as a caretaker for Tali.
James D’Arcy (Agent Carter) as HENRY: A high-ranking official at Interpol, Henry has spent his career in law enforcement chasing international criminals. Career-focused with no wife or family of his own, Henry has always been happily married to his job.

NCIS: TONY & ZIVA picks up after Ziva’s supposed death when Tony left the NCIS team to go raise their daughter. Years later, Ziva was discovered alive, leading her to complete one final mission with NCIS before she was reunited with Tony and their daughter in Paris. JULY 9, 2024 — Paramount+ today announced the highly anticipated new original drama series LANDMAN, starring Oscar winner Billy Bob Thornton, will premiere on Sunday, November 17, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and international markets where the service is available. The series will launch with two episodes, and subsequent episodes of the 10-episode long first season will be available weekly on Sundays. Created by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan, LANDMAN is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios and Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions exclusively for Paramount+.

Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, LANDMAN is a modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. Based on the notable 11-part podcast “Boomtown” from Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly, the series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics.

In addition to Thornton, the series stars Ali Larter (The Last Victim), Michelle Randolph (1923), Jacob Lofland (Joker 2), Kayla Wallace (When Calls the Heart), James Jordan (Yellowstone), Mark Collie (Nashville), Paulina Chávez (The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia), and Demi Moore (Feud: Capote Vs. July 1, 2024– Paramount+ with SHOWTIME today announced that EMMY^® nominee Richard Gere joins the cast of the espionage political thriller THE AGENCY (formerly The Department) for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME as a series regular. THE AGENCY, currently in production in London, is commissioned by Showtime Studios and produced in association with 101 Studios. George Clooney and Grant Heslov will executive produce through Smokehouse Pictures.

The all-new political thriller follows Martian (two-time Academy Award nominee Fassbender),a covert CIA agent, ordered to abandon his undercover life and return to London Station. When the love he left behind reappears, romance reignites. His career, his real identity and his mission are pitted against his heart; hurling them both into a deadly game of international intrigue and espionage. Gere will play “Bosko,” the London Station Chief with a storied past after serving as an 8-year undercover agent.

THE AGENCY is a fresh take on the critically acclaimed hit French drama Le Bureau des Légendes (The Bureau internationally) and will debut on demand and on streaming for Paramount+ subscribers with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan, before making its on-air debut. The series will also stream internationally on Paramount+ in the UK, Canada, Australia, Italy, Germany, Latin America, Brazil and Japan. The Bureau - Le Bureau des Légendes centers on the daily life and missions of agents within France's principal external security service (DGSE). It focuses on the "Bureau of Legends" service, responsible for training and handling deep-cover agents on long-term missions in areas with French interests. Living under false identities for years, these agents' missions are to identify and recruit good intelligence sources. The New York Times named it one of the top international shows of the decade, and NPR has called it “addictively suspenseful” and “one of the best TV shows in the world.”The Bureau - Le Bureau des Légendes was created by Eric Rochant and is a CANAL+ Creation Originale series produced by TOP – The Originals Productions and Federation Studios.
