July 26, 2024 – San Diego – As part of its expanding DEXTER Universe, SHOWTIME announced the return of Michael C. Hall in the new series DEXTER: RESURRECTION and the previously announced origin story DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN. The announcement was made by a surprise appearance from Executive Producer and star Michael C Hall (DEXTER, SIX FEET UNDER) alongside Executive Producer and Showrunner Clyde Phillips (DEXTER, NURSE JACKIE) at San Diego Comic Con during the DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN panel, which is currently in production.

Golden Globe^® and SAG Winner Michael C. Hall will return as Dexter Morgan in both series – he will star in DEXTER: RESURRECTION set in the present day and narrate the inner voice of a young Dexter (played by Patrick Gibson) in DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN which takes place in the 90s.

July 18, 2024 – Paramount+ with SHOWTIME today revealed first-look images for the upcoming highly-anticipated prequel series DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN. The photos unveil the iconic Morgan family, with Golden Globe^® winner Christian Slater as Harry Morgan, Patrick Gibson as Dexter Morgan and Molly Brown as Debra Morgan. Taking place 15 years before audiences first met Dexter in the Peabody Award winning SHOWTIME^® series DEXTER, the new 10-episode thriller chronicles America’s favorite serial killer...in training.

Set in 1991 Miami, DEXTER: ORIGINAL SIN follows Dexter (Gibson) as he transitions from student to avenging serial killer. When his bloodthirsty urges can’t be ignored any longer, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness. With the guidance of his father, Harry (Slater), he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on law enforcements’ radar. This is a particular challenge for young Dexter as he begins a forensics internship at the Miami Metro Police Department.

June 26, 2024 – Paramount+ today announced that the highly anticipated second season of the hit original series TULSA KING, starring Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone will premiere on Sunday, September 15 in the U.S. and Canada and across Paramount+ international markets beginning Monday, September 16. The service also debuted a first-look teaser of the new season. Executive produced by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan, Oscar nominee and writer Terence Winter, and multi-award-nominated director Craig Zisk, TULSA KING is currently filming in Oklahoma and Atlanta. The series is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios exclusively for Paramount+.

In season two, Dwight (Stallone) and his crew continue to build up and defend their growing empire in Tulsa, but just as they get their bearings, they realize that they’re not the only ones who want to stake their claim. With looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs. Plus, he still has unfinished business back in New York.

TULSA KING also stars an incredible ensemble cast that includes Martin Starr, Jay Will, Max Casella, Vincent Piazza, Tatiana Zappardino, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Frank Grillo, Domenick Lombardozzi, Andrea Savage, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is a upcoming, all-new original 2D animated series. Reprising their roles from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem are Micah Abbey (Cousins for Life) as Donatello, Shamon Brown Jr. (The Chi) as Michelangelo, Nicolas Cantu (The Walking Dead: World Beyond) as Leonardo, Brady Noon (Family Switch) as Raphael and Ayo Edebiri (The Bear) as April O'Neil.

Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles guest stars include Pete Davidson (Saturday Night Live) as Rod, a lazy rich kid who loves Mutants so much, he'll do everything in his power to become one, and Alanna Ubach (Ted) as Bishop, a brilliant inventor who believes mutants are the greatest danger to humanity and that all of them, including the Turtles, must be eliminated. Additional guest stars include: Rose Byrne as Leatherhead; Natasia Demetriou as Wingnut; Post Malone as Ray Fillet; Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Pigeon Pete; Timothy Olyphant as Goldfin; Jillian Bell as Lee the Eel; and Danny Trejo as Mustang Sally.

The series is produced by Nickelodeon Animation and Point Grey Pictures, who brought audiences last summer's smash-hit Paramount Pictures film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.

July 25, 2024 – Paramount+ today announced the new docuseries PD TRUE will premiere with 10 episodes exclusively on the service in the US on Tuesday, August 6. The gripping half-hour series takes viewers into moments of crisis in some of the biggest cases of our time as told by the police offers who worked them.

Developed by See It Now Studios, the team behind the Paramount+ hits FBI TRUE and NEVER SEEN AGAIN, PD TRUE features real, raw, and unfiltered stories shared between the men and women officers who worked shoulder-to-shoulder to solve shocking and even unthinkable crimes. In each episode they recount serial killings, mass shootings, crimes of passion and revenge, and more. Viewers may have seen the headlines and know the basics, but they’ve never heard them from the cops themselves, who had to sift through horrific crime scenes or carry out risky undercover assignments. What got them through, they say, is never quitting on the mission and their dogged determination to see justice done.

Each half-hour edition of PD TRUE is built around intimate interviews with the lead officers on each case. They share their strategies, and are candid about the emotions they felt, and sometimes still feel for the victims. Complementing their stories is a trove of exclusive video which is woven with never-before-seen evidence that gives a moment-by-moment feel for how the case unfolded.

Season one features a blow-by-blow of the police response to the mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando; a terrifying subway shooting in New York City; an LA gunfight with bank robbers that turned a city street into a war zone; a bumbling mob hit on a “wise guy” in the Bronx; the ruthless murder of a stunning Playboy model; and the hunt for Aileen Wuornos, America’s best known female serial killer whose victims were middle-aged men.

'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars' Crowns Newest Winner During Jaw-Dropping Season Nine Finale

Vice President Kamala Harris Makes Special Appearance to Share Timely Message on Voting

Winner Receives Coveted Spot in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame”

and a Supersized Donation of $200,000 for Their Chosen Charity

July 26, 2024 — Paramount+ today announced that Angeria Paris VanMicheals was crowned as the winner of RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS season nine, receiving a coveted spot in the “Drag Race Hall of Fame,” as well a supersized donation of $200,000 to the National Black Justice Coalition, the charity she competed for throughout the season, provided by The Palette Fund. The Palette Fund is a private foundation dedicated to breaking down barriers and advancing social change in communities that are under-resourced and facing significant challenges. This season marked the first time in franchise herstory where the queens competed for charity and harnessed their drag skills to win money for a variety of organizations.

“In a season full of giving, Angeria Paris VanMicheals won me over with her kindness, uniqueness, nerve and talent,” said eight-time Emmy^® Award-winning host and executive producer, RuPaul. “Condragulations to all the queens for serving world-class entertainment while raising money and awareness for so many worthy causes.”

In the RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS season nine finale, Vice President Kamala Harris made a special guest appearance to kick off the episode, encouraging viewers to continue to fight back against attacks on the LGBTQ+ community’s rights and freedoms. The Vice President was joined by RuPaul’s Drag Race mainstay judge Michelle Visage, as well as Jamal Sims, Lance Bass, Leslie Jones and Cheyenne Jackson, to help spread the message of making your voice heard by registering to vote at vote.gov.

Kylie Sonique Love, winner of RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS season six, surprised the queens in the werk room along with a virtual appearance by Jimbo, winner of RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS season eight, to give the queens a pep talk before the “Grand Finale Slay It Forward Variety Extravaganza.”

On the mainstage, RuPaul was joined by Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews and celebrity guest judge Connie Britton, where Nina West was ru-vealed as the recipient of the “Double Diamond,” doubling her number of Beautiful Benefactress Badges. RuPaul also announced that each All Star would receive an extra $5,000 for their respective charities. The top two All Stars of the week, Angeria Paris VanMicheals and Vanessa Vanjie, each earned three additional badges, which helped advance them to the final top three, along with Roxxxy Andrews.

For the final lip sync, the top three All Stars battled it out during a gagworthy performance of Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation.” In the end, RuPaul declared Angeria Paris VanMicheals the winner of RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS season nine, and Kylie Sonique Love returned to present the prestigious crown and scepter.

The eight queens who returned to RUPAUL’S DRAG RACE ALL STARS and the charities they chose to compete for are Angeria Paris VanMicheals (Season 14) for the National Black Justice Coalition, Gottmik (Season 13) for Trans Lifeline, Jorgeous (Season 14) for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Nina West (Season 11) for The Trevor Project, Plastique Tiara (Season 11) for The Asian American Foundation, Roxxxy Andrews (Season 5, ALL STARS 2) for Miracle of Love, Shannel (Season 1, ALL STARS 1) for the Anxiety and Depression Association of America and Vanessa Vanjie (Season 10, 11) for the ASPCA.

Gina Yashere Reports for Duty on Star Trek: Starfleet Academy

The internationally acclaimed comedian joins the all-new Original Series from CBS Studios as a recurring guest star.

Paramount+ has announced that Gina Yashere (The Barbarian and the Troll, Bob Hearts Abishola), has joined the cast of the first season of the original series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy as an Academy instructor in a recurring guest star.

The upcoming series will follow the adventures of a new class of Starfleet cadets as they come of age in one of the most legendary places in the galaxy. Produced by CBS Studios, the new series will begin production later this summer.

Yashere joins previously announced cast members Holly Hunter, Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard, George Hawkins, Karim Diané, Zoë Steiner, and Paul Giamatti.

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy introduces viewers to a young group of cadets who come together to pursue a common dream of hope and optimism. Under the watchful and demanding eyes of their instructors, they discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves, and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself.

Alex Kurtzman and Noga Landau serve as co-showrunners and executive produce the series alongside executive producers Gaia Violo, Aaron Baiers, Olatunde Osunsanmi, Jenny Lumet, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Frank Siracusa and John Weber. The series' premiere episode is written by Gaia Violo. Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Paramount+ has announced that Karim Diané (One Of Us Is Lying) and Zoë Steiner (Significant Others) have joined the cast of the original series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. The upcoming series will follow the adventures of a new class of Starfleet cadets as they come of age in one of the most legendary places in the galaxy. Produced by CBS Studios, the new series will begin production later this summer.

Diané and Steiner will play cadets, joining previously announced cadets Kerrice Brooks, Bella Shepard and George Hawkins, as well as cast members Holly Hunter as the captain and chancellor of Starfleet Academy, and Paul Giamatti as the season's antagonist.

Produced by Nickelodeon Animation, Hamill will lend his voice as, "The Flying Dutchman," a gruff and goofy ghost-pirate who will face off against SpongeBob in his newest underwater adventure. Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton) performed a live table read from SpongeBob SquarePants, "Single-Celled Defense," where Sandy teaches Plankton all about Karate and self-defense.
