Nickelodeon Unveils New 'Rocket Power', Jimmy Neutron, 'Wild Thornberrys' and Ren & Stimpy Funko POP! Figures

Nickelodeon and Funko are partnering once again to release more brand new Funko POP! figures! The next wave will see Reggie and Otto Rocket from Rocket Power, Jimmy Neutron, Eliza and Donnie Thornberry from The Wild Thornberrys, and "Space Madness"-themed Ren & Stimpy vinyl figures added to Funko's NickRewind Nickelodeon Retro collection!

Each new figure is currently slated to ship between May 26-30, and is currently available to pre-order on the official Paramount Shop. Each new figure, sold separately, is priced $14.95, with the exception of the new Ren & Stimpy POP! figures, which are priced slightly higher at $15.95 each.

‘SpongeBob SquarePants’ Restaurant to Open in Sao Paolo, Brazil

The beloved Nickelodeon franchise’s first standalone restaurant, Bob Esponja - Burguer & Restaurante, will offer fast food, fine dining, kids' areas, and a store from April.

Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants is getting a themed restaurant in Sao Paolo, Brazil. The hit franchise’s first official standalone restaurant will be known as Bob Esponja – Burguer & Restaurante and open its doors in April.

With more than 1,000 square meters, it will have a capacity for 254 visitors and feature several themed spaces, including four food areas, one retail, and two kids’ spaces, taking visitors into the world of SpongeBob SquarePants and his friends, Paramount Global-owned Nickelodeon said.

It is partnering on the venue with a company called Fan&Food. The first floor of the destination will feature a hamburger restaurant with 144 seats and a design set to make people feel like residents of Bikini Bottom, according to the partners. The Flying Dutchman’s Lounge on the second floor will have 40 seats where “fans can enjoy a unique moment inside the Flying Dutchman’s Ghost Ship,” they said.

Also on the second floor will be the SpongeBob House, described as “the first and only SpongeBob SquarePants-themed fine dining [spot] in the world with 70 seats. Customers will be able to enjoy a special menu created by renowned chef Heaven Delhaye.”

The venue will also feature a SpongeBob Store and two kids spaces, “one of which is Casa da Sandy located on the mezzanine where children will immerse themselves in the universe of Sandy Cheeks, or Sandy Bochechas as the character is known in Brazil,” the partners said.

The restaurant will be part of the Paramount Location-Based Entertainment & Experiences division, which brings Paramount’s stories and franchises to life across theme parks, hotels and resorts, water parks, cruises, themed restaurants, Broadway musicals, touring shows, and more. The unit already operates more than 50 restaurants.

The news comes as SpongeBob SquarePants prepares to celebrate its 25th anniversary.

JOIN THE IMAGINATIVE ADVENTURES AND JUMP INTO THE OINKTASTIC 3-PART WEDDING SPECIAL WITH AN ALL-NEW TRAILER BELOW

Hasbro has announced the oinktastic news that the brand new 3-part Peppa Pig Wedding Special, featuring global megastars Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry, will air at 9:00 AM ET/PT from March 25-28 as part of Nickelodeon’s “Peppa Pig Wedding Week”!

In celebration of the iconic animated character’s 20^th anniversary, these new Season 10 episodes will have little ones and their families jumping into fun, imaginative and oinktastic adventures that real-life wedding parties bring to loved ones everywhere.

Joining the beloved Peppa Pig franchise as guest characters and voice stars in the series, dress maker Ms. Leopard (voiced by Katy Perry) and jeweller Mr. Raccoon (voiced by Orlando Bloom) assist with preparations for the first-ever wedding scene. Mr. Bull and Mrs. Cow surprise everyone with their wedding announcement and everyone rallies around to make it memorable!

“Peppa is so relatable and warm, and her stories teach lessons of good values and integrity that I am modeling for my daughter,” said Katy Perry. “It feels like a warm cup of tea all the time! How could I say no? Peppa is an icon, and I thought I should give my KatyCats the collab they’ve been asking for! …Plus whatever makes me cool with my toddler is what I’m into these days!” Meanwhile, Orlando Bloom boasted about his daughter’s love for Peppa while sharing, “The fact that I get to be Mr. Raccoon and I can run around the kitchen pretending to be Mr. Raccoon when she’s watching it, she will just be so delighted.”

Peppa Pig is a British preschool animated television series that has been airing for 20 years across nine seasons in over 180 territories. Nickelodeon to Premiere New 'Transformers: EarthSpark' Episodes on April 6

Nickelodeon will premiere two brand new episodes of Transformers: EarthSpark on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. (ET/PT)!

In "A Stygi Situation" at 9:00 a.m., Jawbreaker finally chooses an alt-mode, but instead of changing into it, the alt-mode changes him. (#119)

Then in "Disarmed" at 9:30 a.m., Robby, Mo, and the Terrans attempt to unlock new Cybersleeve powers, with disastrous results. (#120)

This will mark the linear TV premieres for both episodes, with each episode previously making their debuts on Paramount+ last July. Both episodes are also currently available on DVD, along with the remaining episodes of season one still to air on Nickelodeon, on sale today, including on Amazon.com.

Transformers: EarthSpark introduces a new generation of Transformers robots, Terrans, the first earth born Transformers. Introduced to the Malto family, together they form an alliance with the Terrans and legendary Autobots to unite on shared missions.

Transformers: EarthSpark is created and co-executive produced by Dale Malinowski (Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) and executive produced by Ant Ward (“Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”). The series is developed for television by Claudia Spinelli, senior vice president of Big Kids Animation, Nickelodeon. Production is overseen for Nickelodeon by Mikiel Houser, executive in charge of production, and for eOne by Kari Rosenberg.

Transformers: EarthSpark made its debut on Paramount+ in November 2022, with all 26 episodes from the series' first season now available to stream. The series also airs on Nickelodeon. A second season is currently in production. A video based on the series, TRANSFORMERS: EARTHSPARK – Expedition, is available today from Outright Games.

Vanity tires of Jokey’s exploding box and decides to boobytrap it with an even bigger explosion. He uses some magical powders that ultimately make hundreds of little Jokey Smurfs run wild in the village. They pull annoying pranks on all the Smurfs. When Papa Smurf tries to stop them, the junior Jokeys turn on him and tie him to a rocket. Jokey and Vanity must work together to save Papa Smurf before he's blasted into outer space!
