'TMNT: Mutant Mayhem' and 'Rock, Paper, Scissors' Receive Nominations In 51st Annual Annie Awards

The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, has announced the exciting news that Nickelodeon has received seven nominations in the 51st Annual Annie Awards, which recognizes the year’s best in the field of animation!

Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies' 2023 blockbuster Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Mutant Mayhem has been nominated for six Annie Awards, for: Best Feature, Best Direction - Feature (Jeff Rowe, Kyler Spears), Best Music - Feature (Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross), Best Production Design - Feature (Yashar Kassai, Arthur , Tiffany Lam), Best Writing - Feature (Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Jeff Rowe, Dan Hernandez, Benji Samit), and Best Editorial - Feature (Greg Levitan, Illya Quinteros, David Croomes, Myra Owyang).

Meanwhile, Nickelodeon's upcoming animated series Rock, Paper, Scissors has been nominated for the Best Writing - TV/Media award for the pre-released episode "Birthday Police" (Josh Lehrman, Kyle Stegina, Aram Spencer Porter, Julia Prescott, Mike Trapp)!

This year's ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 at UCLA's Royce Hall. Pre-reception and Press Line at 4:30 p.m., followed by the ceremony at 7 p.m., and after party immediately following the ceremony. Nickelodeon and Paramount serve as a Silver Level sponsor of the event.

SpongeBob Is Ready For Super Bowl LVIII! | "Sweet Victory" | Nickelodeon

SpongeBob is ready for Super Bowl LVIII Sunday, February 11th at 6:30pm ET! It's going to be an unforgettable "sweet victory" moment - if you know you know!

In the ultimate sports and pop culture crossover event, Nickelodeon and CBS Sports will be bringing Super Bowl LVIII to Bikini Bottom, the iconic undersea home to SpongeBob SquarePants, for a kids and family-centric, surprise-filled special presentation of the game.

In the first-ever Super Bowl alternate telecast, SpongeBob SquarePants (voiced by Tom Kenny) and Patrick Star (voiced by Bill Fagerbakke), the newest additions to the Nickelodeon booth, will join CBS Sports analyst Nate Burleson and play-by-play announcer Noah Eagle to call the game. Sandy Cheeks (voiced by Carolyn Lawrence) will make her sideline reporting debut, while Larry the Lobster (voiced by Mr. Lawrence) provides live commentary, and Dora the Explorer (voiced by Diana Zermeño) and Boots (voiced by Asher Colton Spence) help explain penalty calls during the game. NFL Slimetime's Young Dylan and Dylan Schefter will also report live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev. Additional details on the Nickelodeon Super Bowl telecast including programming and production will be revealed later.

The Nickelodeon Super Bowl telecast is produced by CBS Sports in association with Nickelodeon Productions. Sean McManus and Harold Bryant serve as executive producers of THE NFL ON CBS, and CBS Sports' Shawn Robbins is coordinating producer of the games.
