Amazon Prime has today (Dec. 31) premiered Nickelodeon's brand new animated series, Zokie of Planet Ruby, with all 26 episodes from the creator-driven 2D-animated series' first season now available to stream on the service.
In Zokie of Planet Ruby, quirky vlogger Ruby discovers her only channel follower is a space alien from Planet Pudge named Zokie Sparkleby, and they quickly become BFFs. Filming daily adventures, Ruby teaches Zokie about her version of Earth and Zokie works to control his magic.
Zokie of Planet Ruby was originally announced during Nickelodeon Upfront 2021 under the working title ZJ Sparkleton. This was later changed to Zokie Sparkleby.
It's currently unknown whether today's release of Zokie of Planet Ruby was intentional or not, as it came out of the blue without any prior announcement, and the official releases date for each episode currently say "December 31, 1899" or "January 1, 1900".
Zokie of Planet Ruby is produced by Nelvana, a world-leading international producer, distributor and licensor of children’s animated and live-action content. Although the show's official imagery on Amazon Prime feature Nickelodeon branding, there isn't a Nickelodeon logo on the show's title card nor a Nickelodeon Productions card at each episode.

Zokie of Planet Ruby is created by Brian Morante (Penguins of Madagascar, Breadwinners, SpongeBob SquarePants). Mike Geiger (3 Amigonauts, Winston Steinburger and Sir Dudley Ding Dong) is the director and Lynne Warner (Corn & Peg, The Most Magnificent Thing) is the supervising producer for Nelvana.
"The show I created at Nickelodeon just dropped on Amazon Prime. So many people poured so much heart and humor and weirdness into this show," said Morante on X/Twitter, adding: "Big shout out to everyone at Nelvana where we produced this thing, and @atomiccartoons [Atomic Cartoons] who did an amazing job animating it. I'm sure we crushed some people with how much work this was to make. Also I had @mikegeiger and @optimusscotto [Scott O'Brien], @mollfrylock [Mollie Fry-Lick] helping guide this thing."

S1 E2 - More Than a Sandwich/Pigeon Enemy #1: Ruby helps Zokie find his true value on Earth when her parents challenge him to do anything but make sandwiches. Ruby and Zokie help Earl overcome the pigeon mafia for a dumpster taco, reaping the benefits of his new tastebuds.
S1 E3 - Extreme Bakeover/The 2nd Follower: Inspired by Ruby and Zokie to take creative risks, Stan bakes the world's most flavorful cake for a food contest. Ruby tries to impress her second follower while Tweenkle kidnaps Zokie to eliminate the competition.
S1 E4 - Responsible Sleepover/The Bolt Strikes Back: Ruby goes to any length to prove to her parents that Zokie is responsible enough to host their first sleepover. Ruby and Zokie inspire the Bolt, a washed up wrestler, to become King of the Ring again.
S1 E5 - Entrepren-Earl/Lucky Charms: Ruby and Zokie use space lemonade to boost Ruby's channel, but Earl gets involved, putting Zokie's health at risk. Zokie is convinced Ruby's 'bad luck' will be the end of her and tries to fix it by capturing a leprechaun.
S1 E6 - The Great Tangle: Zokie ZAPS Ruby's hair with sparkle magic and they find themselves trapped in a world of tangles.
S1 E7 - Toxic Positivity/Lima Bean Farmulator: Ruby and Zokie want to help Tweenkle's video director have fun again, but their creative visions are not in sync. Ruby has to overcome her fear of talking to Jeremiah to save Zokie from his addiction to a new video game.
S1 E8 - Bedbugs & Breakfast/Tweenkle Is Cancelled: Zokie practices hosting by being a perfect host to an insect swarm so he can have the Studebakers over for dinner. When Tweenkle's image is tarnished by a negative comment, Ruby and Zokie try in vain to teach her how to be nice.
S1 E9 - Horselord/Earl Scouts: To avoid being sent back to Pudge, Zokie turns Ruby's landlord's pet Chihuahua into a Pudgian sparkle horse. Ruby wants to earn her first Scoutie Scout badge but Earl steps in as her Scout Master with ZERO survival skills.
S1 E10 - Ramp It Up!/Sponsor Surprise: Ruby tries to impress her cool cousin Kiki while Zokie tries to match Ruby's relatives' way of showing affection. Ruby and Zokie accidentally get a sponsor package meant for Tweenkle and make an awesome reaction video.
S1 E11 - A Brox Tale/The Motherloaf: Trying to prove that they're ready to care for an Earth pet, Ruby and Zokie decide to care for Brox's shed skin. Ruby and Zokie's messiness creates the MOTHERLOAF, an insatiable dough-monster who feeds on their messes.
S1 E12 - Full Shade/Who's Your Daddy?: Worried Grandma Pearl's a murderous horticulturist, Ruby and Zokie try to discover what shady business she's actuallyinto. Zokie packs a lifetime of memory-making experiences into one day to make up for missed father-son bonding time with Earl.
S1 E13 - Dough-Not/Jurassic Prank: Ruby and Zokie's friendship is strained when they discover that Ruby loves donuts and Zokie hates them. Ruby, Zokie and Dee come together to prank Stan, who claims if dinosaurs came back to life, he wouldn't be scared.
S1 E14 - The Closet of Doom/Ghost Encounters: Ruby and Zokie accidentally shrink themselves while hunting for Dee's lost earring in Ruby's messy closet. Ruby and Zokie try to de-haunt the haunted laundry room when Ruby loses yet another sock to it.
S1 E15 - Turkeydactyl: Ruby wants Zokie to try both her favorite Thanksgiving desserts, causing her grandmothers to fight for pie dominance.

S1 E19 - Hot Pudge Sludge Day/Love Nuts: Ruby and Zokie try to recreate a Pudgian holiday on Earth, without putting anyone at risk in the process. Ruby and Zokie set up a blind date for Earl and Konko, who thinks the date is with Zokie.

S1 E22 - Dazzling Dee/All-American Anti-Scooper: The magician Dee is working for disappears mid-act, so Ruby and Zokie help find her inner magic to save the show. Ruby and Zokie make a true crime documentary, ready to do what it takes to expose an anti-poop-scooping pet owner.
S1 E23 - Unboxing/Zokie Sparkleby: The Most Perfect Earfling: Ruby and Zokie make an unboxing video to get the people of Earth to appreciate Ruby's creative genius. Zokie sets out to become the perfect 'Earthling' when he thinks his alienness might be causing problems for the Studebakers.
S1 E24 - RadicalCon: When they become separated from one another at RadicalCon, Ruby must embark on a quest to find Zokie (and prove that their friendship is epic), while Zokie is mistaken for a popular celebrity.
S1 E25 - Shut This Ship Down/The Tooth Taker: Ruby and Zokie team up with an unlikely duo to stop Zokie's ship from destroying all things imperfect on Earth. While Earl finds his next big con, Ruby and Zokie attempt to capture Ruby's worst enemy: the Tooth Fairy.
S1 E26 - The End Times: On the night Ruby gets the chance to trick-or-treat with Jeremiah and Zokie, Halloween festivities in Tres Leches come to a sudden halt when government agents descend on the town, hunting for a dangerous alien, powerful enough to destroy Earth. (season one finale)
