'The Really Loud House' Stars Hint Show May Have Be Canceled

Nickelodeon may have canceled The Really Loud House, with the network's hit live-action series not returning for season three.

The Really Loud House

With The Really Loud House reaching the end of its second season very soon, fans have been wondering whether the popular Nickelodeon series would be returning for a third season. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be any current plans for season three.

Based on the Emmy Award-winning animated show The Loud House, The Really Loud House is an original live-action comedy series. Currently in its first second season, the half-hour series (40 episodes + two TV movies) follows 12-year-old Lincoln Loud (Wolfgang Schaeffer) as he goes on new adventures in the town of Royal Woods with his best friend Clyde McBride (Jahzir Bruno), while also navigating the chaos of living in a family with ten sisters.

The cast playing the real-life versions of the beloved Loud family are: Brian Stepanek, as Lynn Loud Sr.; Jolie Jenkins, as Rita Loud; Eva Carlton, as Leni Loud; Sophia Woodward, as Luna Loud; Catherine Ashmore Bradley, as Luan Loud; Annaka Fourneret, as Lynn Loud; Aubin Bradley, as Lucy Loud; Ella Allan, as Lola Loud; Mia Allan, as Lana Loud; Lexi Janicek, as Lisa Loud; Lexi DiBenedetto, as Lori Loud; and August Michael Peterson, as Lily Loud.

The Really Loud House was greenlit following the success of A Loud House Christmas, and made its debut on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2021. When A Loud House Christmas, the live-action movie, premiered on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, it became the top kids’ entertainment telecast with kids 6-11 across all TV for the year, drawing 3.1 million total viewers over the holiday weekend. Most of the cast from A Loud House Christmas went on to reprise their respective roles for the series. On Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023, the Paramount+ Original movie A Really Haunted Loud House bowed on Paramount+ with a same-day airing on Nickelodeon. Season two of The Really Loud House premiered on February 19, 2024, launching with a hour-long musical special titled “A Musical to Remember”.

With season two wrapping up soon, actor Jolie Jenkins, who plays Rita Loud, the mother of the Loud family, shared some behind-the-scenes photos from The Really Loud House on Instagram, revealing that the show may have been canceled.

In the caption of her post, Jolie writes "We are reaching the end, friends. Only two more new episodes left of @nicktheloudhouse. Catch one of them tonight! @nickelodeon 🧡 P.S. I miss my Loud House Fam so much 🥹🫶🏻".

Actor Brian Thomas Smith, who portrays Mr. Bolhofner on the series, then comments on Jolie's post, saying "Such a fun and outrageous show that ended way way way too soon."
