LA’s Toybox Labs has announced that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be arriving on the 3D printing platform on Friday, August 2, 2024!
The Toybox 3D printer allows kids to design and print more than 3,000 toys, including space ships, action figures, swords and animals. The 3D printer is available to purchase on the company’s online store, where users can also purchase printable licensed characters from kids series.
Toybox Labs has a licensing deal with Paramount Consumer Products to develop a new range of printable toys for its namesake 3D printer, which launched with SpongeBob SquarePants. The latest phase of the partnership with bring the Heroes in a Half Shell - Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael - as well as their signature weapons to the platform.
The news comes as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles celebrates its 40th anniversary. A new 2D-animated series, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, set in the world of last year's blockbuster movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, premieres Friday, August 9 on Paramount+.
