Jim Davis’ iconic fat cat is coming in for a landing, with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment due to debut the Kids' Choice Awards nominated The Garfield Movie on digital on Tuesday, July 9. The fully CG-animated family comedy-adventure will be available to buy and rent.
Synopsis: Garfield (voiced by Chris Pratt), the world-famous, Monday-hating, lasagna-loving indoor cat, is about to have a wild outdoor adventure! After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father — scruffy street cat Vic (Samuel L. Jackson) — Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.
Directed by Mark Dindal (The Emperor’s New Groove), the 101-minute movie also features the voices of Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rhames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecily Strong, Harvey Guillén, Brett Goldstein, Bowen Yang and Snoop Dogg.
