Nick Jr. UK Set to Head Back to 'Kangaroo Beach' In 2025

Nick News Brief: Nickelodeon UK & Ireland has acquired the rights to the second season of the popular CG-animated series Kangaroo Beach, with plans to air the new season on Nick Jr. in 2025. Additionally, it has been announced that a third season is currently in production.

Update (12/11): The ACTF has pre-sold Kangaroo Beach Series 3 to Nickelodeon UK!

Kangaroo Beach

Described as "Baywatch for kids," in Kangaroo Beach, four young animal friends - Pounce the kangaroo, Frizzy the koala, Neville the wombat and Gemma the platypus - share an action-packed summer at a spectacular beach, training as junior cadets with their lifeguard heroes -  learning to surf, scuba dive and rescue stranded swimmers. Chockfull of warm, relatable characters, comedy and heart, the series introduces a young audience to life-saving water safety. Season one debuted on Nick Jr. UK & Eire during Summer 2021.

Kangaroo Beach

Kangaroo Beach is created by Tim Bain (Digby Dragon, Thomas & Friends, Bluey, Fireman Sam), written by Bain, Charlotte Rose Hamlyn, Simon Dodd, and Samantha Carroll, and directed by David Webster. Celine Goetz serves as a producer, with Patrick Egerton serving as the executive producer. The series is produced by Cheeky Little Media and distributed by the Australian Children's Television Foundation (ACTF).
