First Season of THE ENVOYS Was the Best-Performing Spanish-Language Scripted Series on the Platform in the U.S.
Oct. 31, 2023 – Paramount+ today released the official teaser trailer for the second season of the Spanish-language thriller series THE ENVOYS (LOS ENVIADOS). The original series features an all-star cast, including Luis Gerardo Méndez (Narcos: Mexico, Nosotros Los Nobles, Club de Cuervos) and Miguel Ángel Silvestre (Narcos, Sense8, Velvet, Sin Tetas No Hay Paraíso). Oscar winner Juan José Campanella (El Secreto de Sus Ojos) serves as showrunner, producer and director. All eight episodes will be available to binge exclusively on Paramount+ soon.
In the second season, Priests Pedro Salinas (Méndez) and Simón Antequera (Silvestre) delve into a web of mystery and murder in a Galician convent. With three blind nuns bearing witness to a supposed miracle, the battle between lies and faith escalates. As they probe deeper, tragedy strikes with the sudden demise of their host Joaquin. Monster High 2 is directed and executive produced by Todd Holland (Monster High The Movie, The Real O'Neals, Malcolm in the Middle). Phil Breman, Vice President of Live Action Development at Mattel Television, Adam Bonnett (Descendants, Zombies, Masters of the Universe) and Fred Soulie serve as executive producers. Shawn Williamson (The Good Doctor) and Arielle Boisvert (Upload) from Brightlight Pictures also serve as executive producers with David Magee serving as producer. The sequel teleplay is written by Matt & Billy Eddy (Teen Beach, Invisible Sister, Zapped), with story by Todd Holland & Matt & Billy Eddy. SINOPSIS
Nickelodeon y Paramount+ estrenan Monster High 2, la secuela de la película musical basada en la icónica franquicia Monster High sobre los hijos de monstruos y criaturas famosas.
Monster High 2 sigue a Clawdeen Wolf (Miia Harris), Draculaura (Nayah Damasen) y Frankie Stein (Ceci Balagot) cuando ingresan al segundo año en Monster High.
El poder de tres se pone a prueba mientras enfrentan desafíos este año: nuevos estudiantes, nuevos poderes, amistades en evolución y una amenaza aún mayor que no solo podría romper su amistad, sino que podría cambiar el mundo para siempre.
La película también presentará al nuevo personaje Toralei (Salena Qureshi), un luchador hombre gato, que regresa después de un año en el extranjero en Scaris, Francia.
