Oct. 3, 2023 – Paramount+, Alterra Mountain Company and Ikon Pass today announced a global partnership that will bring the premium streaming service to all Ikon Pass holders. Starting October 3, 23/24 Ikon Pass holders will have three-month access to the Paramount+ Essential streaming subscription plan or the Paramount+ Standard plan outside of the US, offering popular content spanning live sports and A Mountain of Entertainment™ included with purchase of the Ikon Pass.

Paramount+ and Alterra will bring the partnership to new heights when the upcoming tour of The Lodge: A Paramount+ Experience kicks off in 2024. The Lodge began its mountainous trek earlier this year, appearing at Mammoth Mountain and Steamboat in March 2023. In 2024, the immersive experience will appear at four locations across Alterra's destinations – Steamboat (CO), Palisades Tahoe (CA), Winter Park (CO) and Stratton (VT) – and take mountain goers on a unique journey through the worlds of Paramount+. Specific timing for the 2024 tour of The Lodge: A Paramount+ Experience will be announced at a later date.

September 29, 2023 – Paramount+ today announced that its five-part docuseries PAINKILLER: THE TYLENOL MURDERS will premiere exclusively on the service, beginning Tuesday, October 10. It’s a story that captivated the nation in 1982 when seven people, mostly in and around Chicago, died suddenly and without explanation. The victims included three people from one family and a child from another. Today marks the 41^st anniversary of the first victim’s death – 12-year-old Mary Kellerman.

Eventually, a nurse quickly saw a common thread between the deaths; the victims all took the common pain reliever Tylenol, but their capsules were laced with cyanide. The deaths were soon dubbed the “Tylenol Murders” and started a frenzy to find the person responsible as fear spread across the country and store owners pulled Tylenol from their shelves.

PAINKILLER takes viewers inside the chaos of that time as police search for answers to one of the most notorious unsolved crimes. The case tortured families, a city and a nation for decades.

PAINKILLER follows as investigators focus on a key suspect: James Lewis. In real-time, the five-part docuseries unravels the dark, complicated mystery of the crime, exploring the various police missteps and the madness that consumed Lewis, who lived in plain sight for more than 40 years. The series meticulously pieces together other crimes to which Lewis was connected, including extortion, dismemberment and another murder. Four decades later, the grieving families carry the horror of the heinous crime. Past clues and new technology raise the question: Could DNA evidence finally nail the killer?

Paramount+ Australia to Premiere 'A Really Haunted Loud House' on Oct. 7

Just in time for Halloween, Paramount+ Australia will premiere the brand-new original feature-length movie, A Really Haunted Loud House on Saturday 7th October 2023!

In celebration of the spookiest season, the Louds return with their annual Halloween Spooktacular filled with frightful tricks, delightful treats, spellbinding costumes and original music. Lincoln Loud and his best friend Clyde must decide between trick or treating and the signature Loud family Spooktacular or attending a party hosted by Xander, the cool new kid at school.

Following its debut, A Really Haunted Loud House will encore on Nickelodeon in the days leading up to Halloween.

In A Really Haunted Loud House, Lincoln Loud and his best friend Clyde skip the Loud family’s Halloween Spooktacular to attend an over-the-top party hosted by the new cool kid at school, Xander, leaving his sisters to plan the annual event and grandiose neighborhood performance, while Dad fights his own demons and avoids being captured by teenage werewolf hunters. When Xander and his mob of followers decide to play tricks and attack the Loud house, Lincoln, his sisters and Clyde must work together to save Halloween, leading to an epic standoff in the town’s junkyard.

The cast of The Really Loud House season one will reprise their roles as members of the beloved Loud family in the movie and season two of the series: Wolfgang Schaeffer as Lincoln Loud; Brian Stepanek as Lynn Loud Sr.; Jolie Jenkins as Rita Loud; Eva Carlton as Leni Loud; Sophia Woodward as Luna Loud; Catherine Bradley as Luan Loud; Annaka Fourneret as Lynn Loud; Aubin Bradley as Lucy Loud; Ella Allan as Lola Loud; Mia Allan as Lana Loud; Lexi Janicek as Lisa Loud; Lexi DiBenedetto as Lori Loud; and August Michael Peterson as Lily Loud. Jahzir Bruno plays Lincoln’s best friend, Clyde McBride. Martin Fajardo (Now and Then) plays Xander.

A Really Haunted Loud House will debut on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ in the U.S. on Thursday, September 28.

A Really Haunted Loud House is directed and executive produced by Jonathan Judge (Life in Pieces, Young Sheldon, A Loud House Christmas). Teleplay is by Tony Gama-Lobo & Rebecca May (Rise of the TMNT) and Tim Hobert (The Really Loud House, The Middle, Scrubs, Community); the story is also written by Gama-Lobo & May. Michael Rubiner (The Loud House) also serves as an executive producer, and the movie is produced by Melanie Kirk and Don Dunn.

Production for Nickelodeon Studios is overseen by Shauna Phelan and Zack Olin, Co-Heads of Nickelodeon & Awesomeness Live-Action. Brittany Cope serves as Nickelodeon’s Executive in Charge of Production for the franchise.

Based on the Emmy Award-winning animated show The Loud House, and following the success of the hit live-action movie A Loud House Christmas, live-action comedy series The Really Loud House follows middle schooler Lincoln Loud as he goes on new adventures in the town of Royal Woods with his best friend Clyde McBride, while also navigating the chaos of living in a family with ten sisters. Season two of The Really Loud House will feature even more hilarious adventures and premiere in early 2024 on Nickelodeon. Season one can be streamed on Paramount+ starting early 2024.

When A Loud House Christmas, the live-action movie, premiered on Nickelodeon USA on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, it became the top kids’ entertainment telecast with kids 6-11 across all TV for the year, drawing 3.1 million total viewers over the holiday weekend. A Loud House Christmas is currently streaming on Paramount+.

The Loud House animated series debuted on Nickelodeon USA in May 2016. As one of the longest-running animated series on Nickelodeon with 176 episodes, the property has also been translated into: a comic book series, which continues to roll out new stories; chapter books; a digital album; and a podcast, Listen Out Loud. The animated series is executive produced by Michael Rubiner. Kyle Marshall serves as co-executive producer and Ashley Kliment-Baker is art director.

Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ: MAT), Nickelodeon and Paramount+ today revealed the trailer and premiere date for Monster High 2, the sequel to the live-action movie musical based on the iconic Monster High franchise about the children of famous monsters and creatures. Monster High 2 will premiere in Australia and New Zealand on Paramount+ on Saturday, 7 October.

Monster High 2 follows Clawdeen Wolf (Miia Harris), Draculaura (Nayah Damasen) and Frankie Stein (Ceci Balagot) as they enter sophomore year at Monster High. The power of three is put to the test as they face even bigger challenges this year—new students, new powers, evolving friendships, and an even bigger threat that could not only tear their friendship apart, but could change the world forever. The movie will also introduce new character Toralei (Salena Qureshi), a feisty British were-cat, back after a year abroad in Scaris, France.

Monster High 2 also stars: Case Walker (The Other Two) as Deuce Gorgon; Marci T. House (Day of the Dead) as Headmistress Bloodgood; Scotch Ellis Loring (Firehouse Dog) as Clawdeen’s dad, Apollo; Steve Valentine (Mom) as Draculaura’s dad, Dracula; Jy Prishkulnik (Just Beyond) as Cleo de Nile; Lina Lecompte (Death Pursuit) as Lagoona; Justin Derickson (When the Streetlights Go On) as Heath Burns; Lilah Fitzgerald (Honey Girls) as Ghoulia; Nasiv Sall (Descendants 2) as Abbey Bominable; Bonale Fambrini (Kevin Can Wait) as Ellis; Kyra Leroux (Riverdale) as Demi Boovais; and Ana Ortiz (Love, Victor) as Zamara Prue. Additional fan-favourite characters from the Monster High universe will also be seen throughout the movie.

The Monster High animated series will also return on Nickelodeon this spring. Mattel first introduced Monster High in 2010, and it quickly became one of the most successful and beloved kids’ properties of all time. The franchise seeks to foster a more accepting world where everyone is proud to be their authentic self.

Monster High 2 is directed and executive produced by Todd Holland (Monster High The Movie, The Real O’Neals, Malcolm in the Middle). Phil Breman, Vice President of Live Action Development at Mattel Television, Adam Bonnett (Descendants, Zombies, Masters of the Universe) and Fred Soulie serve as executive producers. Shawn Williamson (The Good Doctor) and Arielle Boisvert (Upload) from Brightlight Pictures also serve as executive producers with David Magee serving as producer. The sequel teleplay is written by Matt & Billy Eddy (Teen Beach, Invisible Sister, Zapped), with story by Todd Holland & Matt & Billy Eddy. Created by Nyswaner, Fellow Travelers is based on the novel by Thomas Mallon. Bomer plays charismatic Hawkins Fuller, who maintains a financially rewarding, behind-the-scenes career in politics. Hawkins avoids emotional entanglements – until he meets Tim Laughlin (Bailey), a young man who’s brimming with idealism and religious faith. They begin a romance just as Joseph McCarthy and Roy Cohn declare war on “subversives and sexual deviants,” initiating one of the darkest periods in 20th-century American history. Over the course of four decades, we follow our five main characters – Hawk, Tim, Marcus (Alladin), Lucy (Williams) and Frankie (Ricketts) – as they cross paths through the Vietnam War protests of the 1960s, the drug-fueled disco hedonism of the 1970s and the AIDS crisis of the 1980s while facing obstacles in the world and within themselves.
