Produced in partnership with Imagine Kids+Family, new episodes of Bossy Bear will continue to roll out Monday through Thursday at 11 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon during the month of March, with a series launch on Nick Jr. channels internationally later this year.
The first season of Bossy Bear will feature real-life couple Lance Bass and Michael Turchin in recurring guest voice roles as the parents to Ginger (Beahlen Deacon), Bossy Bear’s older sister Bissy’s bestie aka her “squirrelfriend.” Bass and Turchin voice Tyler, a laid-back owl, and Greg, an intense chipmunk, respectively, who run a vegetarian and kosher food truck called Latke Love.

How to Roller Skate (Like a Boss!)
In the March 6 series premiere, “Ultimate Hype Bear/The Chrysalis Crew/Just Say No,” Bissy is nervous to meet her favorite K-Pop band, so Bossy acts as her “Hype Bear” to give her confidence. Then, Bossy and Turtle discover a fallen chrysalis and become the ‘Chrysalis Crew’ to protect it. Finally, Turtle learns to speak up when Bossy and friends want to use his favorite toy as a soccer ball.
David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim are the creative minds behind the UglyDolls franchise. Horvath also penned the Bossy Bear book series (Hyperion), inspired by a blend of Korean and U.S. pop culture.

HBO Max’s parent company has filed a lawsuit that accuses Paramount Global of reneging on parts of the $500 million licensing deal set in 2019 for the streaming rights to episodes of Comedy Central's hit animated series South Park.
The suit, filed Friday (Feb. 24) in New York state Supreme Court, asserts that Paramount breached the contract by steering South Park specials and other content to its own Paramount+ platform.
The suit alleges that Paramount “blatantly intended to prop up Paramount+ at the expense of Warner/HBO,” and that Paramount engaged in “multiple and flagrant duplicitous contortions of fact and breaches of contract.”
“Warner/HBO brings this lawsuit to vindicate its rights and recover the hundreds of millions of dollars in damages incurred as a result of Defendants’ misconduct,” the suit alleges.
HBO Max set a whopping licensing pact with Paramount for rights to South Park episodes in October 2019 as then-parent company AT&T was preparing to launch the HBO Max streaming platform in May 2020.
South Park has been a staple of Paramount Global’s Comedy Central cable channel for more than 25 years. The enduring animated comedy, which hails from Trey Parker and Matt Stone, is in its 26th season and has amassed more than 300 episodes to date.
The lawsuit alleges that when HBO Max bid on the South Park streaming rights, it did so with the assurance that there would be three new seasons of 10 episodes each. The suit alleges, however, that only two episodes were delivered for the first of those seasons and only six for the second. HBO Max understands that the third season will also consist of of six episodes — for a total of 14 across the three seasons.
The suit alleges that new episodes are far more valuable than old ones, and that therefore HBO Max dramatically overpaid for the library.
Meanwhile, in 2021, MTV — a Paramount subsidiary — announced a $900 million deal with Parker and Stone for exclusive South Park content that would run on Paramount+. In the press release, an MTV executive was quoted as saying that the deal would “help fuel Paramount+.”
The suit also quotes Stone as saying, “We have f*ck you money now” in reference to the deal.
HBO Max argues that the deal required diverting content that should have fallen under its 2019 contract to Paramount+ instead. The suit alleges that Paramount engaged in “verbal trickery” and “grammatical sleight-of-hand,” characterizing the new content as “movies,” “films” or “events” — but not “episodes” — to avoid its obligations under the 2019 agreement.
Under the MTV deal, Paramount+ would get 14 “made for streaming” movies. Four of those “movies” have already run on Paramount+: South Park: Post Covid, South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid, South Park The Streaming Wars Part 1, and South Park The Streaming Wars Part 2.
In response, Paramount denied the allegations. The company also accused Warner Bros. Discovery of failing to pay the license fees that it owes under the agreement.
“We believe these claims are without merit and look forward to demonstrating so through the legal process,” a Paramount Global spokesperson said. “We also note that Paramount continues to adhere to the parties’ contract by delivering new South Park episodes to HBO Max, despite the fact that Warner Bros. Discovery has failed and refused to pay license fees that it owes to Paramount for episodes that have already been delivered, and which HBO Max continues to stream.”
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Nickelodeon's '90s animated Nicktoons series Rocko’s Modern Life, and FILA has just the footwear to celebrate the beloved characters of O-Town!
Source: FILA
In collaboration with Paramount Consumer Products, FILA is launching a special collection of sneakers exclusively for fila.com, Foot Locker, and Champs Sports. Each shoe is adorned with familiar faces from the Nicktoon, bringing the characters of Rocko, Heffer, and Filburt out of the ’90s and into your next trendy outfit.
The FILA x Rocko’s Modern Life collection features three distinct styles. Each comes with Rocko’s Modern Life and FILA logos on the tongue, heel, upper liner, and sock liner, as well as custom packaging to spotlight each featured character.
Rocko | Source: FILA
The RML Rocko x Renno style honors the lovable wallaby protagonist. Crafted in nylon and suede and designed in a coral hue as a nod to Rocko’s footwear. The quarter features a vibrant graphic design that mimics the character’s colorful signature shirt. As the cherry on top, the sneakers are playfully embellished with images of Rocko and his faithful dog, Spunky. The Rocko x Renno sneakers are available for $100 or $90 for kids.
Heffer | Source: FILA
The RML Heffer x F-13 features red, light yellow and lavender hues, the colors of Rocko’s best friend Heffer Wolfe. The high-top shoe includes pony hair detailing on the strap and red and purple hues to pay homage to his trademark suspenders and red pants, while the character himself makes an appearance on the Fila flag. The Heffer x F-13 style is available for $90 or $80 for kids.
Filburt | Source: FILA
Finally, the RML Filburt x Original Fitness style plays on the characteristics of the turtle Filburt through its colorway and design. His turquoise skin and green shell with turquoise ovals are incorporated into the silhouette. His famous blue glasses appear on the heel, while an image of the character can be seen sitting on top of the FILA flag. The Filburt x Original Fitness shoes are available for $85 or $75 for kids.

Starting on Feb. 28, the entire collection of men’s and kid’s footwear will be available on champssports.com and Champs Sports locations, while the men’s footwear will also be available on fila.com, footlocker.com, and Foot Locker locations.
To bring this collaboration to life and to further connect to the series’ devoted audiences, Fila and Nickelodeon tapped Carlos Alazraqui, who voiced the character of Rocko, to share his memories of playing the character over the past 30 years, while also highlighting the new collaboration.
