Based on the beloved Marcelo, Marmelo, Martelo book line from Brazilian writer Ruth Rocha, the series follows the adventures of Marcelo, a unique boy who lives in the Caramelo neighbourhood, who has his own way of thinking, dressing and expressing himself. He's joined by his three friends: Catapimba, the fastest footballer; the very organised Teresinha; and Gabriela, who is super smart and has the most powerful kick in the neighbourhood. Marcelo, along with his friends, will transform the world in each episode.
The show's official synopsis reads: "Marcelo creates words and rules, questioning things and getting into trouble in his neighborhood. He and his gang discover a mysterious machine, which they swear to protect from two con artists."

Marcelo, Martello, Marshmallow: Marcelo moves to Caramel Neighborhood, meets new friends, and they'll discover a mysterious machine in an abandoned house. With his habit of inventing words, he ends up causing a lot of confusion. (#101)
Dysfunctionness: Marcelo invents the Unfunctioning week and... It'll be a big confusion! Manoel and Carminha get ready to sell the Houser and the group realizes that it' s a lot better when their functions are kept.
Catapimba´s halfthday: Why birthdays happen once a year? Marcelo proposes a "Halfbirthday"! The group didn't prepare for the party, so everything goes wrong. Carminha hosts an event at the Houser and they gets in her way!
Myselfness: Why everyone is the way they are? The gang play personality swap, or better saying, miselfities. Manoel plays the scientist and tries to get a copy of a signature for the sale of the house.
Moitara: After getting his change in candies, Marcelo questions the value of money and ends up creating a new economy! And a scammer with a fake winning lottery ticket almost deceives Carminha and Manoel.
Deinternetise: Everybody is addicted to the Internet, so Marcelo and his gang decides to disinternetize the neighborhood, with a little help from GENI. But, they end up attracting an eccentric buyer to the Houser.
Friendly: Marcelo questions the concept of family and of obeying the rules of parents, by creating his own type of family: the Frienmaly! Meanwhile, a pop band arrives in the neighborhood to buy the Houser.
Infinite chocowjuice: Could we have infinite chocolate comming out of the tap? With GENI's help, Marcelo and the gang spreads juicelate through the plumbing system of the neighborhood attracting a new buyer to the Houser.
The Caramel Fivathlon: Marcelo creates his own sports tournament: the Caramel's Pentatlhon! A professional athlete is interested in the Houser and in the competition, and the children will need to work a sweat.
Ununluck: It's Friday the 13th, and Marcelo needs to find a way to reverse the bad luck in the neighborhood. He and his friends try to spread luck, but they almost end up helping in the sale of the Houser!
Anti-traginews: The newspaper only has bad news, so Marcelo think that it should be called tragedary. Why can't children report their own stories, only good things? The group creates a newspaper anti-tragedarian.
The Caramel representakid: Why only adults decides to run for representative of the neighborhood, or better, childpresentative!? Carminha and Manoel want to benefit from Manoel's application to try to get rid of the Houser.
Mornight at the livingdom: Why we sleep at night and stay awake during the day? Marcelo decides to throw a nightay at the Houser. The gang tries to disrupt Carminha's sale and discovers that Batista's brother is...
