However, Amazon accidentally released both segments last weekend and aren't available for purchase at the present time. Adding more confusion is the fact that this promo contradicts the footage shown in the recent New Friday Night promo, showcasing scenes for "Super Sitters" instead. This leads me to believe that the promos were already produced well before the last minute changes. In theory, Nick could air both and call it a day, but I have no way of knowing what they'll end up doing until then.

SpongeBob Doesn't Talk About 2008 - When 'Avatar' Won 'Best Cartoon' at Kids' Choice Awards

Nickelodeon's beloved animated series SpongeBob SquarePants has won nearly every Favorite Cartoon blimp award at the Kids' Choice Awards since 2004 - all except one..


Taking to Twitter on April 7, the official SpongeBob Twitter joked using the Employee of the Month meme that SpongeBob doesn't talk about 2008, the year he lost out to Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The good news is that SpongeBob can talk about 2022!

JoJo Siwa Not Being Invited to 'Kids’ Choice Awards 2022' Was an ‘Honest Mistake,’ According to Nickelodeon Source

JoJo Siwa may have been nominated for a Kids’ Choice Award on Saturday, but the Dance Moms alum says Nickelodeon didn’t invite her to the big show.

“A lot of you have been asking me why I’m not at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards tonight, and the answer is very simple — I wasn’t invited,” Siwa said Saturday in a video posted on her Instagram. “I’m not sure why, but I just didn’t get an invite.”

In a caption, she wrote, “I don’t want anyone to think it was my choice not to go…. I simply didn’t get an invite.”

However, a source close to the show’s production told Variety's Marc Malkin that Siwa’s missing ticket “was an honest mistake.”

The source explained that the error occurred “because of a much reduced audience size due to COVID protocols.”

Siwa was nominated for favorite social music star. She picked up the award in 2019, but Dixie D’Amelio took it home this week.

Shortly after Siwa’s Instagram, chatter on Twitter questioned if Nickelodeon suddenly had an issue with her becoming a vocal LGBTQ advocate after she came out in 2021, despite Nickelodeon being an LGBTQ+ advocate in the past. “This had nothing to do with her as a person,” the source said. “That is so off the mark and very upsetting. It was truly an unfortunate mistake and she definitely should have been there.”

Reps for Nickelodeon and Siwa declined to comment for this story, but executives are going to be reaching out to Siwa “to try to make things right,” the production source said.

In January, Siwa celebrated her one-year anniversary of coming out as a member of the LGBTQ community. “In the last 365 days I’ve felt more love than ever. A year ago today I posted this picture and shared with the world that I was gay,” she wrote in an Instagram post.

The 2022 KCAs, held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, were hosted by Miranda Cosgrove and Rob Gronkowski and featured performances by Jack Harlow and Kid Cudi.

The Lazy Dance: LazyTown's Lost Episode Explained

LazyTown, the Icelandic musical series, became a firm favorite with Nickelodeon viewers when it aired on Nickelodeon. Commissioned by Nickelodeon in 2003, the series, created by Magnús Scheving, premiered August 16, 2004, and featured now-iconic characters as Sportacus, Stephanie and Robbie Rotten. The original series ran for two seasons between 2004 and October 2007, before being renewed by Cartoon Network for two new seasons for Cartoonito, airing between March 2013 and October 2014.


Although it’s been off-the-air for quite a long time, it remains a notable part of pop culture, spawning memes and beyond.

However, one thing that LazyTown fans are talking about lately is the lost episode of the series. The Lost Media Archive mentions that there is a lost episode of LazyTown which cannot be watched because it was never actually finished.

Titled "The Lazy Dance", it’s considered the first instalment of the show that was ever produced. However, work on it was never completed due to technical issues.

As a result, it never premiered on television.

Many of you will be familiar with alleged “lost episodes” that are, in fact, creepypastas, and don't actually exist; perhaps the most famous is the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Red Mist".


Nevertheless, this isn’t the case with "The Lazy Dance", as there has been evidence leaked, such as the images above and below, that the episode was at least partly made.


According to Lost Media Archive, the episode is set on Stephanie’s half-birthday and to celebrate she expresses her wish to host a dance party.

All of her friends gather for the event but Sportacus faces a dilemma because he doesn’t actually know how to dance. However, nobody believes him because they can’t imagine a superhero that can’t dance.

Robbie eavesdrops and uses Sportacus’ lack of dance skills to his advantage, posing as a dance instructor to offer him lessons.

Accepting, Robbie teaches him a bunch of terrible dance moves to embarrass him. When he unveils the moves Robbie taught him, the villain’s plans backfire because the others simply teach him their dance moves instead of ridiculing him.

Another little known fact about the episode is that Jake T. Austin is credited as the voice of Stingy in the pilot episode, before the role went to Jodi Eichelberger. Jake T. Austin went on to voice Diego in Nickelodeon's Dora the Explorer and it's spin-off Go, Diego, Go!, followed by starring in Nickelodeon Movies' Hotel for Dogs and Disney Channel's Wizards of Waverly Place.

During an old interview with Girl.com, creator Magnús Scheving was asked why he called the show LazyTown:

“We asked a lot of kids…. when you are talking about names, you can’t name it Active Town or Smiley Town because kids would never watch it, but they were interested in what LazyTown was doing? Are they lazy?”

He added: “In my mind, the residents of LazyTown are like the underdogs…. so we cheer for them… you can do it! Go. Go Get Up LazyTown!”
