'PAW Patrol' Unveils 'Big Truck Pups' Theme; To Introduce New Character, Location and Toys

A brand new PAW Patrol theme has been unveiled!


Titled "Big Truck Pups", the new sub-series will be trucker-themed, and introduce a new pup named Al and a new location called Big Valley. Take a look at the pups in their new suits in the picture above!

As with previous themes, Spin Master and Nickelodeon will introduce "Big Truck Pups" toys so that fans can re-enact their favorite scenes at home, New toys include the Al Deluxe Big Truck, which includes a figure of Al and his big truck!


At the moment, it's currently unknown when "Big Truck Pups" will premiere on TV, however, it'll most likely feature as part of season nine, which premieres on Nickelodeon on March 25 and introduces Liberty from PAW Patrol: The Movie to the series.

'Good Burger', 'Nacho Libre' and 'iCarly' Set to Leave Netflix on April 1

Nick News Brief: A few Nickelodeon titles are set to leave Netflix in the U.S. on Friday, April 1, 2022. The Nickelodeon Movies Good Burger (1997) and Nacho Libre (2006), as well as seasons 1 & 2 Nickelodeon's beloved live-action comedy series iCarly. The news was first reported by What's on Netflix.

Dear Blogger reviewers - What's wrong now? You already reviewed this and said that it's okay.


iCarly seasons one and two (which turned out to be a repackaging of seasons 1-3) wre originally slated to leave the Netflix programming library in February, but it looks like the removal was delayed. All episodes of the original iCarly series as well as the first season of the revival are still available to stream on Paramount+, with season two arriving April 8.

Both Good Burger and Nacho Libre are available on Blu-ray.

Pluto TV Germany to Launch Kids' Choice Awards, Spotlight Channels in March 2022

Pluto TV Germany (Deutschland), the leading free streaming television service, will be launching two Nickelodeon channels in March 2022 - Kids' Choice Awards 2022 and Nick Spotlight!


Launching Tuesday 1st March is Nick Spotlight, a channel dedicated to Nickelodeon's hit locally produced live-action drama series Spotlight, which follows the lives of a group of young talented students at the Berlin School of Arts theatrical school and their dreams to take the stage. Nick Spotlight will air all five seasons of Spotlight. Additionally, a sixth season is reportedly in development for Nickelodeon.


Then on Tuesday 15th March, Pluto TV prepare viewers for Kids' Choice Awards 2022 with a Kids' Choice Awards channel, featuring the best shows and series from the national and international KCA 2022 nominees. Following this year's event on Nickelodeon, reportedly airing Saturday 19th March, all fans can relive the slimefest on Pluto TV.


In addition to the Nickelodeon-themed channels, Pluto TV will also be hosting daily specials throughout March, including Paranormal Saturday on March 5, in which mystery-themed series will be shown on various channels across the Pluto TV network. On March 8, International Women's Day, Pluto TV Movies, Pluto TV Food, Clubbing TV and Pluto TV Romance will "celebrate women" and show corresponding content.

Ab dem 1. März finden Userinnen und User bei Pluto TV den neuen Pop-Up-Sender Nick Spotlight, das hat die Plattform nun angekündigt. Zu sehen gibt es dort dann rund um die Uhr alle bislang fünf veröffentlichten Staffeln der Nick-Serie "Spotlight". Inhaltlich geht es in der Serie um die fünf Schüler Jannik, Toni, Ruby, Azra und Mo, die die Aufnahmeprüfung an Deutschlands einziger Schule, die Performing Arts und allgemeine Schulbildung verbindet, bestanden haben und nun aus ihrem Traum vom Showbusiness Wirklichkeit machen wollen. Eine sechste Staffel der Serie ist aktuell in der Mache. 

Darüber hinaus richtet Pluto TV ab dem 15. März einen temporären Sender ein, um die Nutzerinnen und Nutzer auf die Kids Choice Awards 2022 einzustimmen, die am 19. März stattfinden. Pluto TV verspricht auf dem Sender die "besten Shows und Serien der nationalen und internationalen Nominierten". Im Anschluss an das diesjährige Event können alle Fans die Show bei Pluto TV nochmal sehen. 

Und dann hat Pluto TV für den März einige Tages-Specials angekündigt. Am 5. März gibt’s etwa den Paranormal Saturday, da werden dann auf verschiedenen Sendern Mystery-Formate gezeigt. Am 8. 'Are You Afraid Of The Dark?: Curse Of The Shadows' Wins Award at 2022 Writers Guild Awards

The Writers Guild of America (WGA) has announced the exciting news that writers JT Billings and Alex Ebel have been nominated in the "Children's Episodic, Long Form and Specials" category of the 2022 Writers Guild Awards for their work on “The Tale of the Midnight Magic”, the fifth episode of Are You Afraid Of The Dark?: Curse Of The Shadows, the second season of Nickelodeon's revival of the iconic '90s horror anthology series!

Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Curse of the Shadows follows an all-new Midnight Society group of kids who learn of the terrifying curse cast over their small seaside town, and are haunted by a mysterious creature known as the Shadowman. In the just-released trailer, viewers are introduced to the new Midnight Society members and get a glimpse at the horrors that await them in the shadows.

The new members of the Midnight Society are: Luke, played by Bryce Gheisar (The Astronauts, Wonder); Jai, played by Arjun Athalye; Hanna, played by Beatrice Kitsos (Child's Play, iZombie); Gabby, played by Malia Baker (The Baby-Sitters Club); Seth, played by Dominic Mariche (The Christmas Yule Blog, A Gift to Cherish); and Connor, played by Parker Queenan (Party of Five, Andi Mack).

Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Curse of the Shadows is produced by ACE Entertainment (To All The Boys I've Loved Before, The Perfect Date) with ACE founder Matt Kaplan and Spencer Berman serving as executive producers and Paul Kim as co-executive producer. Jeff Wadlow (Fantasy Island, Truth or Dare) serves as executive producer and the primary director for the series. JT Billings (Beware That Girl, Charming) serves as showrunner and executive producer.

Production of Are You Afraid of the Dark?: Curse of the Shadows for Nickelodeon is overseen by Shauna Phelan, Senior Vice President, Live-Action Scripted Content; and Zack Olin, Senior Vice President, Live Action. Brian Banks serves as Nickelodeon's Executive in Charge of Production for the series.
