Produced by the Nickelodeon Animation Studio and CBS Studios’ Eye Animation Production, STAR TREK: PRODIGY is already a hit amongst Paramount+ subscribers, and had the top-performing premiere day out of any original animated kids series on the service. The series was recently renewed for a second season, which is slated to premiere in 2023.
The STAR TREK: PRODIGY voice cast includes Kate Mulgrew (Hologram Kathryn Janeway), Brett Gray (Dal), Ella Purnell (Gwyn), Rylee Alazraqui (Rok-Tahk), Angus Imrie (Zero), Jason Mantzoukas (Jankom Pog), Dee Bradley Baker (Murf), John Noble (The Diviner) and Jimmi Simpson (Drednok).
Developed by Emmy® Award winners Kevin and Dan Hageman (“Trollhunters” and “Ninjago”), the CG-animated series STAR TREK: PRODIGY is the first “Star Trek” series aimed at younger audiences, and follows a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search of a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship they have commandeered – a first in the history of the “Star Trek” franchise – but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.
STAR TREK: PRODIGY is from CBS’ Eye Animation Productions, CBS Studios’ new animation arm; Nickelodeon Animation Studio, led by President of Animation Ramsey Naito; Secret Hideout; and Roddenberry Entertainment. Rudra: Boom Chik Chik Boom
As a part of this special initiative, Colors Tamil will air Golmaal Jr and Rudra: Boom Chik Chik Boom, two brand new animated series every Monday to Friday at 5:00 PM and 5:30 PM respectively, starting 24th January, 2022.
In an endeavour to establish a deeper relationship through its home-grown content, the Nickelodeon franchise in association with Colors Tamil will engage viewers in a language of their choice. Created by prominent Bollywood director Rohit Shetty, Golmaal Jr. is inspired by his own comedy film series, Golmaal.
Meanwhile, premised on the fictional magical cities Sun City and Kaal City, Rudra: Boom Chik Chik Boom narrates the story of a 9-year-old magician, who is learning to harness his supernatural powers.
Commenting on the new shows, Rajaraman S, Business Head, Colors Tamil, said, “After the success of our current shows, we are elated to introduce two animated series to our lineup. While all our fiction and non-fiction shows have been popular among the Tamil viewers, we are now confident that Nick Neram will help us gain prominence among children as well.

A série de animação “Rugrats: Os Anjinhos”, sucesso dos anos 1990, já está disponível no streaming brasileiro Watch Brasil. São cinco temporadas do programa que inspirou três filmes e dois spin-offs, além de ter dominado a programação do canal fechado Nickelodeon por quase uma década.
A animação produzida inicialmente entre 1991 e 1994, e depois retomada para uma nova rodada de episódios entre 1998 e 2005, ganhou até uma estrela na Calçada da Fama – entre os desenhos, o feito anteriormente havia sido alcançado apenas por “Os Simpsons”.
“Rugrats: Os Anjinhos” também ganhou em 1992 como a melhor série de animação pela IGN. Em 1995 Steven Spielberg, grande fã da série disse: “Os Rugrats são como o Peanuts TV do nosso tempo”, se referindo à famosa série de Snoopy, Charlie Brown e sua turma.
A premissa da série é simples: e se os bebês pudessem falar?
A animação acompanha as aventuras das crianças Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica e os gêmeos Phil e Lil. Embora a maioria dos personagens sejam bebês, eles se comunicam com linguagem própria, compreensível para o público e ininteligível para os adultos da série.
