The release date was reportedly leaked by the Nintendo Switch eShop, and whilst unconfirmed, Mark DeCarlo, who voices the beloved duck-loving father of Jimmy Neutron in the movie and series, and will be reprising the role for the game, captioned a photo of him standing next to a duck on Twitter with "Psyching up for the Big Day August 5".

The Hugh Neutron Brawler Pack was confirmed to be coming to NASB earlier this year, along with Jenny 'XJ-9' Wakeman from My Life as a Teenage Robot, who was added in May, and Rocko from Rocko's Modern Life, who will be added later this year. Hugh is expected to be a paid-for DLC character.
The Nintendo eShop also has a launch date listed for Rocko's Brawler Pack too. However, December 31 is a commonly used placeholder date, so it's unlikely that this is when it will actually launch.
