Israeli-based Ananey Studios, a division of Paramount Global, has sold the broadcast rights to its hit DIY preschool series Craft Party to Warner Bros. Discovery Italy, with the first season set to premiere on the Cartoonito app in July 2022.
The Cartoonito app, which is a joint venture between Warner Bros. Discovery and RTI Mediaset in Italy, gives preschoolers and their families the chance to enjoy much-loved series, music, and movies on demand from its dedicated free-to-air (FTA) channel, Cartoonito. The app is available to download for free on Google Play, Apple Store, and HUAWEI's AppGallery.
Craft Party invites viewers to join Shai-Ya and Mor, a pair of nine-year-old girls who live and breathe DIY. In each episode, the duo guides viewers on a step-by-step journey of how to create a themed party with DIY art and craft creations. Popular party themes include unicorns, robots, and slime, alongside timeless child favorites such as chocolate, balloons, stars, glitter, and ice cream.
Craft Party was originally commissioned and broadcast on Nick Jr. Israel exclusively for Hot Cable Network. The show gained an impressive 22% accumulated rating for each episode and consistently topped the 10-most viewed shows ranking on the channel for 2021. Craft Party has had over 40 million views on YouTube with more than 260,000,000 exposures to brand videos. The show's format was also acquired by CBBC with two seasons successfully produced.
