BOOYAKASHA! Paramount+, the streaming service from Paramount Global, will add the first season of Nickelodeon's hit 2012 CG-animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series on June 22!
Turtle power lives on in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Nickelodeon’s inspired spin on the iconic mutant-reptile brothers. Emerging from the sewers, Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael and Leonardo confront the wondrous and hostile world of New York City; facing enemies more dangerous and pizza more delicious than anything they could have imagined. The series ran for 124 episodes over five seasons.
Although Paramount Plus carries a lot of TMNT programming, Nickelodeon's 2012 has been absent from the platform.
The news comes as Netflix is also preparing to add Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles season one and Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles season one - Nickelodeon's follow-up to TMNT (2012) on May 31, just in time for Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, a film set in the world of Rise of the TMNT, which bows on Netflix on August 5.
