Licensing International Greater China and Southeast Asia has announced the spongeriffic news that the "SpongeBob SquarePants Crossover Art Exhibition x The Ring, Chongqing" by ViacomCBS Consumer Products and The Ring, Chongqing has been nominated in the "Location-Based or Experiential Initiative of the Year" category of the prestigious Licensing International Asian Awards 2022!

Meanwhile, The Smurfs has received a nomination in the "Entertainment/Character/Toy/Digital Property of the Year – ANIMATED" category of the awards, whilst Peppa Pig has received two nominations: The "Peppa Pig Happy Day Interactive Day Fun Fair by Hasbro China / MEI Theatrical Limited" has been nominated in the "Location-Based or Experiential Initiative of the Year" category, and Dohia Houseware Co., Ltd.'s Peppa Pig / Peppa Pig Bedding collection has been nominated in the "Licensee of the Year – Housewares/Novelties" category.
The Licensing International Asian Awards is dedicated to recognizing outstanding achievements in the Asian licensing markets. More than 300 entries were received this year – the highest ever recorded. The 61 finalists were selected by a judging panel of industry experts from Asia .
The finalists are now put on the ballot, where licensing executives around the world can vote for their favorites online which are factored into the final decision. The winners will be announced on April 27, 2022 (Wednesday). To vote, click here.
