Nickelodeon Raises The Curtain On The Patrick Star Show.
Introducing The All-New Original Animated Series. Premieres Monday 30th May 2022 on Nickelodeon Germany
Lights. Camera. Distraction! The world’s most famous pink sea star, Patrick Star is stepping into the limelight for his very own show. From under the sea in Bikini Bottom, comes Nickelodeon’s all-new original animated series, The Patrick Star Show, which will premiere on Nickelodeon Germany (Deutschland) on Monday 30th May 2022, airing Monday-Saturday at 19:40 Uhr.
The Patrick Star Show is the second spinoff of the popular animated series SpongeBob SquarePants (SpongeBob Schwammkopf) and follows a younger Patrick Star living at home with his family, where he hosts his own variety show for the neighbourhood from his television-turned-bedroom.
Nickelodeon Deutschland will support the launch of The Patrick Star Show with a broad 360° campaign in May and June, including out-of-home (OOH), print, cinema, TV and digital advertising. The advertising campaign, which will also extend to on-air, online, social media will run between Monday 9th May - Monday 13th June 2022. Visoon will handle the campaign, and are looking for brands to partner with.
In the US-English dub of The Patrick Star Show, long-time voice of Patrick Star, Bill Fagerbakke lends his voice as the young adult Patrick alongside new cast members: Tom Wilson (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Cecil Star; Cree Summer (Rugrats) as Bunny Star; Jill Talley (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Squidina Star and Dana Snyder (The Penguins of Madagascar) as GrandPat Star. Summer also voices Grandma Tentacles, Squidward’s Grandma.
Additional cast members include veteran actors Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward Tentacles), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton).
Marc Ceccarelli (SpongeBob SquarePants), Vincent Waller (SpongeBob SquarePants) and Jennie Monica (SpongeBob SquarePants) are co-executive producers of the series. The Patrick Star Show is developed for television by Claudia Spinelli, SVP of Animation Development, Nickelodeon, with production overseen by Kelley Gardner, Vice President, Current Series, Animation, Nickelodeon.
