PARAMOUNT+ ADDS LIVE SPORTS IN LATIN AMERICA AS IT BECOMES THE
EXCLUSIVE HOME OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE IN MEXICO AND CENTRAL AMERICA FROM SEASON 2022/23 TO 2024/25
Paramount+ Adds 380 LIVE Matches each Season and Exclusive Content to its Lineup in Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama
MEXICO CITY, January 13, 2022 – Paramount+ is the new, exclusive home of the Premier League in Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama as the ViacomCBS brand adds live sports to its content portfolio in these regions. The three-year deal with the Premier League also includes rights on a non-exclusive basis in Belize and the Dominican Republic.
Paramount+ subscribers in these markets will have access to 380 live matches played each season, along with a content feed featuring 24/7 coverage of the competition and exclusive content offering an inside look at the club and players.

The partnership with the Premier Leagues marks the service’s first live sports offering in Latin America, and aligns closely with the service’s strategy in the U.S. and Australia. In the U.S., audiences can enjoy CBS Sports’ local market NFL games, and coverage of college basketball, college football and professional golf, as well as UEFA Champions League, Concacaf, Serie A, National Women’s Soccer League, and coming soon the Women’s Super League. In Australia, Paramount+ is the home of Australian Football, offering nearly all the top Australian leagues and international federations in territory including the A-League Men, A-League Women, Asian Cup, FFA Cup, FA Cup and FIFA World Cup qualifiers, as well as all Socceroos and Matildas matches.
