The new The Loud House special The Loud House Super Sports Special introduced viewers to two new members of the voice cast of Nickelodeon's hit animated series: Bentley Griffin, who is the new voice of Lincoln Loud, and Jahzir Bruno as the new voice of Clyde McBride.
Bentley is a relative newcomer to the entertainment business, and currently only has one other credit on his IMDb profile, for voicing Angel in the English dub of Belle: The Dragon and the Freckled Princess.
Jahzir is also relatively new to the voice acting community, with the young actor previously having roles in TV shows Atlanta and The Oath, as well as the 2020 adaptation of The Witches. Prior to voicing Clyde, Jahzir played a live-action version of the character in Nickelodeon's live-action The Loud House movie, "A Loud House Christmas", which aired in November 2021.
Bentley is the seventh voice actor to portray Lincoln Loud, taking over the reigns from Asher Bishop, who was introduced on May 16, 2020. Bishop took over from Tex Hammond, the son of Grey Griffin, who voices Lola Loud on the series, who joined the cast in Summer 2018. Prior to Hammond, Lincoln was voiced by Collin Dean, who joined the cast at the end of season one, Grant Palmer, who voiced the titular character for the majority of season one, and Sean Ryan Fox (Henry Danger, Kid Danger) in the pilot episode. In the special "Really Loud Music," Lincoln's singing voice is provided by Jackson Petty.
Jahzir is the third voice actor to portray Clyde. He takes over from Andre Robinson, who voiced Lincoln's best friend for the majority of season three through season five. Robinson took over from Caleel Harris, who voiced Clyde between season one and eight episodes in season 3.
It's currently unknown why Asher and Andre left their respective roles, however, it is thought that it's due to their voices changing.
The Loud House debuted on Nickelodeon in May 2016 and centers on 11-year-old Lincoln Loud and his 10 sisters as he gives an inside look at what it takes to survive the chaos of a huge family. As one of the longest-running animated series on Nickelodeon with 156 episodes, the property has also been translated into: a comic book series, which continues to roll out new stories; chapter books; a digital album; and a podcast, Listen Out Loud. The series is executive produced by Michael Rubiner. Kyle Marshall serves as co-executive producer and Ashley Kliment-Baker is art director.
Currently in its fifth season, The Loud House was recently renewed for a sixth season.
The show has also been spun-off with the successful companion series, The Casagrandes, which tells the story of 11-year-old Ronnie Anne who moves to the city with her mom and older brother to live with their big, loving family, the Casagrandes.
