The Danger Force will be back in action when season two of the hit Nickelodeon comedy premieres very soon, and to give fans a taste of what's to come, Danger Force director Mike Caron has unveiled the season's official poster, teasing the return of one of Captain Man's old foes - Drex Stinklebaum!
"Villains Return. A Hero’s Choice. The Man’s Nest is boldly going where no one has gone before….," Mike captioned the poster, adding the hashtags "#buckleup #Drex #itoldyouwewerestartingoffEPIC!".
The poster shows Captain Man (Cooper Barnes), Schwoz Schwartz (Michael D. Cohen) and the Danger Force in front of Drex's mutated claw-like hand. Drex (Tommy Walker) was last seen in the Henry Dangerseries finale, "The Fate of Danger," falling off a blimp after fighting Captain Man and Kid Danger (Jace Norman). The poster also shows the Man's Nest in space, above the Earth.
A spin-off from Danger Force, the series premiered in 2020 and follows the students of Swellview Academy for the Gifted (SW.A.G. for short), a school conceived by Captain Man and brought to life by Schwoz (Michael D. Cohen), as they continue to learn how to fight crime and to harness their frequently troublesome and sometimes uncontrollable superpowers they gained during the finale of Henry Danger. Chapa (Havan Flores), Miles (Terrence Little Gardenhigh), Mika (Dana Heath) and Bose (Luca Luhan) must keep their real identities a secret from both from their families and the villains who are out to destroy them. A second season has been greenlit, which is slated to premiere very soon on Nickelodeon. Danger Force season two will premiere on YTV in Canada on October 16 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

To quote a lyric from a Nickelodeon's beloved animated series: “Nautical nonsense be something” fans are wishing upon Lil Nas X.

Many MTV VMAsviewers believe Montero Lamar Hill, better known by his stage name Lil Nas X, was referencing an episode of SpongeBob SquarePants during his Sunday (Sept. 12) MTV VMAperformance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, which aired on Nickelodeon.
“Lil Nas X knows his references,” reads one viral tweet showing a side by side of Lil Nas onstage in a bandleader getup, a marching band behind him, and SpongeBob sporting a similar fit in a iconic episode of the animated TV show. (In that episode, “Band Geeks,” SpongeBob and his marching band accompaniment perform together at the halftime show for Bikini Bottom’s Super Bowl equivalent, the Bubble Bowl.)
“Lil nas paying homage to Spongebob at the VMAS,” tweeted another observer of the similarities between the 22-year-old “Old Town Road” rapper and the cartoon sponge.

BarkBox posted a mockup, and Nickelodeon liked it. Fingers crossed, Blue’s Clues fans and dog owners.
NEW YORK: Social media users have been begging BarkBox to create Blue’s Clues-themed toys, and it looks like the subscription box for dogs might actually grant their wish!
Nickelodeon's beloved preschool series Blue's Clues, currently celebrating its 25th anniversary, follows an animated blue-spotted dog named Blue as she leaves a trail of clues and paw prints for the host and viewers to figure out her plans for the day.
After Nick Jr. posted a video on Tuesday of original Blue’s Clues host Steve Burns explaining that he left the show in 2002 to go to college, the internet lost its mind, and users posted memes reacting to the emotional video. BarkBox got in on the fun by posting the dog version of the meme on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
“We were just as struck by Steve’s video as a bunch of elder millennials on this team,” said BarkBox director of content and communications Stacie Grissom. “But we noticed all of the comments were people begging for Blue’s Clues BarkBox toys.”
Grissom said her team contacted BarkBox’s designer and asked if the toys could be mocked up. “We were like, ‘The people have spoken,’” she said.
BarkBox posted the design for the dog toys and wearables on Thursday, telling people to “make some noise” if they want to see them made into real products. The teaser box features a Blue costume for pups, Steve’s Handy Dandy Notebook and crayon, with affirmations for dogs, and Steve's iconic green-stripped jersey.
It’s on-track to be the best-performing organic BarkBox Instagram post of all time. On Instagram, the post has a 2.3% engagement rate, 41,500 likes, 3,100 comments and 3,000 shares. On Facebook, the post has a 5% engagement rate, 10,000 reactions, 2,300 comments and 757 shares.
On Thursday night, Nickelodeon emailed BarkBox saying, “If you want to make the toys, let’s talk,” Grissom revealed to PR Week. The company couldn’t share other details on when or if the toys will be available.
Speaking about BarkBox’s social media strategy, Grissom said that its goal isn’t to sell subscription boxes or retain customers; rather, it’s simply to entertain dog people.
“This Steve video has connected with the internet,” she added. “It’s what we all needed right now.”
BarkBox works with communications agency Confidant, but handled this activity internally.

Long-time voice actor Tom Kane has been forced to enter early retirement, a new statement from his family reads. Kane, best known to Nickelodeon viewers for providing his voice to Eliza's chimpanzee sidekick Darwin in The Wild Thornberrys, suffered a stroke at the end of last year and the statement says that's the reason why Kane is no longer able to pursue voice work.
"Because of this stroke my dad has been forced into early retirement," Kane's daughter Sam shared on his Facebook page on Friday. "The damage to his speech center is just too severe. He cannot read well nor get out the words he wants, which is sort of required for voice acting. He has what's called Apraxia which means he has difficulty moving smoothly from one sound, syllable or word to another. Groping movements like with his jaw, lips or tongue to make the correct movement for speech sounds are impaired. Essentially he knows exactly what he wants to say, he knows exactly what's going on, but the words are trapped in his head, and when they do come out, it's usually too slurred to understand."
We have some sad news today. It's been announced that Tom Kane is retiring from voice work. His performances over the years are legendary, and brought joy to so many of us. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends. May the Force be with you all❤️#StarWars#tomkanepic.twitter.com/5kLbFOOFDa
The statement then points out that Kane is able to communicate with loved ones using non-verbal communication, with Sam joking, "Thank God he's an actor and great at charades."
Throughout his career, Kane appeared in most animated shows one can think of. He was a mainstay in the worlds created by Lucasfilm, with jobs as recent as voicing the narrator on Star Wars: The Bad Batch. He was also one of the primary voice actors for Yoda throughout Lucasfilm's video game offerings.
"I have SO much more to say about this like how many people miss having conversations with him, especially his children and wife. How f--ked up it is that in a split second one of the most talented voice actors ever lost his voice and career," the family statement added. "I'll stop here or else I'll cry and I've already done that like a thousand times this year!! Please feel free to send him letters! I'll be managing this PO Box, please add your email or Instagram handle so I can send pictures to you of my dad receiving your mail! He has also been practicing his signature and would love to start autographing from home!!"
In the Star Wars universe, Kane is known for his work in The Clone Wars for voicing Jedi Master Yoda and Admiral Yularen as well as narrating the series. He also portrayed Admiral Ackbar in Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi.
Kane has also been part of other major franchises including Woodhouse in Archer and Professor Utonium in The Powerpuff Girls, Magneto in Wolverine and the X-Men and Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, Ultron in Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow and The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, and Robot Chicken.
Additionally, Kane was known for narrating a handful of Disney and Pixar film trailers including Cars, which you can view here.
In the gaming industry, Kane has provided his iconic voice for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Call of Duty: WaW and Black Ops I – III.
And if you are a Disney Parks fan, you may recognize his voice on Walt Disney World’s Monorail System. Kane is also the narrator of the Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular at Magic Kingdom and he was rumored to be a host of Celebrate! Tokyo Disneyland, along with Mickey Mouse at the theme park. You can read more about Kane’s work on his official website, tomkane.com.
NickALive!'s thoughts and well-wishes are with Tom Kane and his family during this time.
