Nickelodeon India Launches #NoStressExpress Campaign for Children's Day

A special programming lineup is planned on 13 and 14 November.


Mumbai: Kids are gearing up for offline learning after a hiatus of more than a year. Through this period of staying away from school and friends’ kids have seldom found a platform to express themselves. Keeping this in mind, this Children’s Day, Nickelodeon – India’s leading kids’ entertainment franchise – is all set to inspire kids to express themselves, unfiltered, through a fun and empowering campaign #NoStressExpress.

Speaking about the campaign Sonali Bhattacharya, Head – Marketing, Kids Cluster, Viacom18, said, “At Nickelodeon, each of our initiatives has kids and their interests at its core. The last year and a half have had kids face social isolation as they were staying away from physical school and their friends. We believe that kids have a lot to say, and their views are very unique. Giving them a platform to express their views freely is what we aim to do with our Children’s Day campaign that will have kids express all that they feel without any filter.”

The campaign is being brought to life through various engaging and interactive experiences that will ask kids to own their day and speak their hearts and mind out – Be it expressing their love for noodles, views on homework or their dislike for a vegetable, nothing is off limits.  As part of this initiative, Nick through its super star Nicktoons – Chikoo & BuntyHappy & PinakiPaw Patrol, and others has called for kids to candidly speak their heart out in a 10-second video and upload it on nickindia.com, standing a chance to feature on Nick.

In addition to this, special Children’s Day programming stunts are also planned on 13th & 14th November on the franchise channels to entertain kids. Not only is the channel taking kids on a stress-free ride through an express-a-thon, but kids can also express their love for their favorite Nicktoons with 99Pancakes limited edition combos! The specially curated combos will be available on Zomato, Swiggy, dine-in orders and takeaways. The campaign and its message are being further amplified by mommy networks and influencers who will call for kids to join the express-a-thon with their favorite Nicktoons. This will also be supported with lot of fun mall activations and meet & greets with Nicktoons across the country.

SoCheers conceptualized and executed Nickelodeon's #NoStressExpres campaign, which encourages children to freely speak their mind, by showcasing different toons expressing what they want through different smart posts and content pegs.

With campaigns like Nick Be the Boss, #KhulKeBolo and Bacchon Jaisi Baatein amongst others, Nickelodeon has always celebrated the spirit of kids on Children’s Day. This time too, Nickelodeon along with its army of Nicktoons is all set to encourage kids to express themselves.
