This probably won't be surprising to anyone, but Reptar is described as being heavy and slow in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. To make up for Reptar's speed disadvantage, he's designed to hit hard with his attacks.
Like many other characters in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Reptar has a basic projectile in his neutral special command. By simply tapping the special button without holding up or down, Reptar will spit out a Fireball projectile.
However, Reptar has a unique mechanic where the properties of this move will change if the player holds the button instead. In this situation, Reptar's Fireball will become Volcanic Beam — a short ranged beam attack that's more powerful based on how long the special button is held.
Reptar's down special, Flame Breath, can also be charged to increase its area of effect while grounded. While charging, Reptar actually gets super armor. You'll want to be careful about trying to contest this move during gameplay.
In the game, players battling with Reptar will be able to use the following moves: Light Neutral “Headbutt”, Light Up “Head Swipe”, Light Down “Snout Slam”, Light Neutral “Tail Swipe”, Light Up Air “Air Kick”, Light Down Air “Leg Kick”, Light Dash Attack “Somersault”, Strong Neutral “Heavy Tail Swipe”, Strong Upper “Backflip Swipe”, Strong Down “Tail Slam”, Strong Neutral “Aerial Heavy Tail Swipe”, Strong Up Air “Blazing Headbutt”, Strong Down Air “Spike Crash”, Strong Dash Attack “Divine Bite”, Neutral Special “Fireball / Volcanic Beam”, Up Special “Jurassic Slam”, and Down Special “Flame Breath”.
Reptar will have his own signature stage in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, which is known as Showdown At Teeter-Totter Gulch. It’s a large stage with two chasms and moving terrain. You’ll notice that a large sand trap covers the ground, and if you sink long enough, you’ll fall into the ground and be KOed.
