Update (11/14) - Bella and the Bulldogs is currently the fifth most-watched kids title on Netflix!
Bella and the Bulldogs follows a perky head cheerleader named Bella (Brec Bassinger, The Haunted Hathaways, School of Rock, Stargirl) whose life in Texas takes an unexpected twist when she becomes the new quarterback for her school team, the Bullfrogs. Bella is joined by "The Troy" (Coy Stewart, Are We There Yet?, Mr. Iglesias, Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), the Bullfrogs' dethroned quarterback along with his pint-sized sidekick, Newt (Buddy Handleson, Wendell & Vinnie, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn). Rounding out the cast are Lilimar Hernandez (Knight Squad, Side Hustle) as Sophie, Bella's cheerleader best friend: Jackie Radinsky (The Goldbergs) as true southern cowboy, Sawyer; Haley Tju (The Loud House, Middle School Moguls, Glitch Techs, Schooled) as Pepper; Rio Mangini (See Dad Run, Home Before Dark) as Ace McFumbles; and Dorien Wilson (Sister, Sister, Moesha, The Parkers) as Terrence. The series is written by Gabriel Garza (Robot and Monster, Monsters vs. Aliens, The Flash) and Jonathan Butler (The Haunted Hathaways, Fanboy & Chum Chum, The Flash), who were discovered through Nickelodeon's Writing Program. Jeff Bushell served as Executive Producer. The series was originally titled Bella and the Bullfrogs. The theme song is titled "One of the Boys".
