Aang Showcase | Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl | GameMill Entertainment
Learn all about Aang's moves and mechanics from the developers behind Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl!
Those who are excited to play Aang can expect a highly mobile character that is great at aerial combos. The young fighter's grounded light attacks all see him using physical strikes with his hands and arms, while aerial lights mix in staff attacks.
Aang's light attacks don't have much range, but they can combo into each other easily and are very fast on the draw.
His strong attacks bring in the power of the wind to deal more damage, and using them in conjunction with light attacks can really help the airbender extend his combos. Aang is looking like a combo monster here in this pre-release footage.
In the game, Aang can use the following moves: Light Neutral “Elbow Strike”, Light Up “Swiping Wind Kick”, Light Down “Wind Chop”, Light Neutral Air “Staff Spin”, Light Up Air “Aerial Swiping Wind Kick”, Light Down Air “Aerial Wind Chop”, Light Dash Attack “Sliding Punch”, Strong Neutral “Tornado Strike”, Strong Up “Rising Wind Kick”, Strong Down “Slashing Air Blades”, Strong Neutral Air “Sweeping Windmill Strike”, Strong Up Air “Whirlwind Punch”, Strong Down Air “Aerial Slashing Air Blades”, Strong Dash Attack “Palm Strike”, Neutral Special “Spinning Staff”, Up Special “Air Glide”, Down Special “Air Ball”.
Aang's signature stage is the Western Air Temple. The stage is an extra-large-sized stage with five platforms. In the background, Appa, Aang’s flying bison, is gliding around. In between the structures. Aang’s glider can also be spotted leaning up against the center temple, though it likely won’t provide Aang an escape if he finds himself in crisis.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Aang Reveal | GameMill Entertainment
Aang is coming to Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl! https://nickelodeonallstarbrawl.com/
"Aang is described as a mobile character who specializes in aerial combos, so expect the airbender to juggle with the best of them when Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl arrives October 5. Aang's ground and air attacks are obviously a bit more aggressive than the modified martial arts that make up his original fighting style, but the basic movements are a pretty good adaptation of the monk's movements. As you'd expect, airbending is a key part of his movement as well as his special attacks, and it all looks pretty nice in motion. At 100% damage or higher, you can also enter Aang's Avatar state with some moves, which is a nice touch," notes GamesRadar+.
"Aang's playstyle revolves more around air bending and combos. He's a very mobile fighter that exceeds at aerial combos to keep his opponents off the ground. He doesn't have much range which can prove a problem versus opponents with reach, but he's easy to combo with. Even some of his down moves hit the opponent in a way that sends that upwards which helps to extend his combos. Aang's stage is the Western Air Temple," notes Game Rant. "Both showcases were quite interesting and are full of tips that fans of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will want to watch in order to better familiarize themselves with the many different characters."
"Both Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl stages are fitting for their respective characters. Korra’s Harmonic Convergence stage has the iconic art and feel of the sequel series, and the background with Raava and Vaatu adds mysticism and lore for fans of the show to enjoy. It’s especially prevalent when the two spirits collide, forming a yin/yang circle. Aang’s stage, Western Earth Temple, is also perfect for the character, including a good amount of easter eggs for veterans of the show to spot," notes ScreenRant. "The stages also include different strategies for players to learn, as part of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl's bid to become competitively viable. The Western Earth Temple is large, with many platforms for players to retreat to. The stage will likely house larger battles with four players duking it out in the 2D landscape. As for Korra’s map, Harmonic Convergence, the stage will likely house smaller, more intimate battles. Players won’t have platforms to escape to, either, so they’ll have to rely on their skill with their character’s moveset to come out on top."
