An all-new SpongeBob SquarePants sauce is coming to Australia, and it’s all thanks to Pizza Hut.
The sauce is as result of a partnership between Pizza Hut Australia, Nickelodeon and ViacomCBS Consumer Products, and has a combination of pineapple, jalapeno and sweet chili.
Available from August 9, the sauce will launch along with custom SpongeBob-themed boxes for any pizzas ordered with the sauce.
"Any pizzas ordered with the sauce will also be served up in a selection of re-designed SpongeBob SquarePants pizza boxes, across Large, Medium and Personal sizes, recalling different scenes from the show," the press release read.

But wait, there's more.
The sauce needs a name, and for the first time ever, Pizza Hut and ViacomCBS Consumer Products are letting Aussies come up with an "attention-grabbing" name for the new sauce.
"Think of classic lines and give them a spicy and saucy twist," they said.
"Take inspiration from the characters or key landmarks in the show such as his hometown of Bikini Bottom."

They’re looking for a fun name that pays homage to the iconic cartoon. Fans can enter their suggestions via via this Typeform link, or by heading directly through the Pizza Hut website - click on the ‘Name The Sauce’ tile on the ‘Offers’ page.
There, you’ll be able to submit a name that might be selected as the official branding for the sauce nationwide. Entries will close on July 28, and the winner, announced on August 4, 2021, will get a SpongeBob Spatula trophy for their efforts, a framed poster with the sauce, the first public taste test and a “Pizza Hut feast”, which the terms and conditions say is Pizza Hut’s 4+4 deal with 12 wings.

The sauce will be available to add on every pizza for only an additional $1 and at no extra charge to drizzle on wings.
And anyone who orders the SpongeBob sauce online until mid-September, will get the chance to enter into a competition to try and win some SpongeBob and friends related prizes, every single week.
“Pizza Hut Australia is inviting Aussies to share the good times by bringing SpongeBob SquarePants memes, quotes and fanfare to life through Pizza Hut," Pizza Hut Australia’s Marketing Manager, Tamsin Lysons said.
