Nickelodeon UK Announces The Nick Experience, A New Immersive Pop-Up Event for Kids and Families

Nickelodeon UK & Ireland has announced The Nick Experience, a brand-new, immersive pop-up event for kids and families, kicking off this December and continuing at 4 different locations across the U.K. throughout 2022!


The Nick Experience event will take place in Birmingham, this Christmas school holidays.

Following this, The Nick Experience will will take place in 4 major UK cities, during school holidays across 2022. Each Event will run for 14-days, with a total capacity of 100,000 per location.

The event is similar to Nickelodeon Big Base Camp, which unfortunately had to be cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19.


The Nick Experience will have three distinct zones:

  • The Bikini Bottom Beach – Where families can sit back and relax at our recreation of SpongeBob SquarePants’ hometown while their kids explore!
  • The Nick Jr. Experience (Pre-schoolers, Kids 4-6 and Parents) – 4 zones that will allow little ones to play and explore with their parents. From Nick Jr’s Arts & Craft Zone to PAW Patrol Meet & Greet, there will lot of activities to keep the young ones happy.
  • The Nick Studio Tour (kids 7–14-year-olds) – The ultimate parent-free zone where Nick fans can immerse themselves into Nick’s biggest shows. Kids can explore: The Thundermans School for Superheroes, the Henry Danger Cave full of mysteries to solve, Hunter Street Escape Room, The Nick Studio, for a once in a lifetime experience of becoming a Nick star, and it wouldn’t be a Nick experience without a Slime Zone!

The Nick Experience is guaranteed to be the UK’s Biggest Family Event!

For The Nick Experience, Nickelodeon has launched a sponsorship opportunity for advertisers.

Brands will have the unique opportunity to partner with The Nick Experience and reach potential 500,000 consumers on the ground, supported with on-air, and social activity.

The immersive experiences offer advertisers a unique platform to engage with attendees or promote a brand or product, in an exciting and playful family environment.
