Going by the slides from the project, the NickWatch will be a highly customable, with wearers being able to change the digital face of the clock to featuring their favorite Nickelodeon character(s). The strap will also feature a raft of fan-favorite Nickelodeon characters from SpongeBob SquarePants, The Loud House and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
In addition to telling the time, the timepiece will also offer kids a social gaming experience, encouraging kids to move around whilst wearing the watch to complete tasks. Tasks featured in the diagrams include: shake, karate, throwing stars, laser cut, boulder run, balance, jam, 8-ball, dance, discharge, slime and lift-off, which kids can achieve by moving their arms and bodies, as well as roaring, talking gibberish, quiet and secret message, which suggests that the NickWatch will include a microphone.
ViacomCBS has applied to patent the NickWatch with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), and is currently under review by both offices.
The project on Behance also names Buenos Aires-based MOOCO, however, it's currently unknown in what capacity the studio is working on the NickWatch.
