Nickelodeon International Acquires '44 Cats' Season 2

Italian content powerhouse Rainbow Group, the production company behind global classics such as the legendary Winx Club saga, will debut the second season of its hit CG-animated series 44 Cats on Italy’s Rai Yoyo beginning Monday, March 2, 2020! The series is locally titled 44 Gatti in Italy.


Pay-TV partners Discovery Kids, for Latin America, and Nickelodeon, for the rest of the world, will follow with exclusive launches in the second and third quarters of the year. The season will premiere on free-to-air (FTA) broadcasters later in fall/autumn 2020.

Set in the world of animals, 44 Cats follows the daily adventures of Lampo, Milady, Pilou and Meatball – four adorable kittens who are part of a music band named The Buffycats.

The protagonists live and play in the Clubhouse, a garage beside old Granny Pina’s house. Their adventures explore the themes of friendship and altruism: the four cats love helping others and always find creative solutions to everyday hitches and help other cats in need. NEW YORK, Feb. 21, 2020 -- Today at New York Toy Fair 2020, TOMY International, Inc. in partnership with Entertainment One (eOne), revealed its full line of Ricky Zoom toys targeted to preschoolers. Based on the lovable rescue bike Ricky Zoom, airing on Nickelodeon's Nick Jr., the full range of toys, which includes the Lights and Sounds Ricky and Ricky's House Playset, is expected to launch exclusively at Walmart and on Walmart.com nationwide in March 2020 and at mass retailers nationwide beginning in June 2020. Ricky Zoom toys can be previewed at TOMY's Toy Fair booth #3003.

Built for speed, Ricky Zoom is a little red rescue bike who races around the sports track with his friends, tries new stunts at the park, and zooms excitedly into every adventure. Now, kids can play along with Lights and Sounds Ricky, which takes Ricky Zoom straight from the TV show to playtime. Complete with articulated and moving wheels, and a light up visor, the item also plays bike sounds and character phrases from the show.

Adding to the fun, kids can explore Ricky's House Playset, which is inspired by the Zoom family's residence. Full of sounds and surprises, it features a bike launcher, bike tire check station, two unique Ricky accessories, a rotating exploration platform, elevator functions and action ramps. The playset also includes articulated Ricky and Toot figures and is compatible with other sets and three-inch figures.

TOMY's Ricky Zoom line is setting new standards for the industry. Each toy bike included in the range is freewheeling and freestanding, which is a first for toy bikes, and will ensure hours of playtime enjoyment.

Nickelodeon Poland Premieres 'America's Most Musical Family'

The hunt is on to find America’s Most Musical Family with Nickelodeon’s brand new music competition series! America’s Most Musical Family premiered on Nickelodeon Poland (Polska) on Saturday 14th March 2020 at 18:45. Following its debut, new episodes of America’s Most Musical Family, locally titled Najbardziej muzykalna rodzina Ameryki, currently air Saturdays at 18:45 on Nickelodeon Polska.


Hosted by Nick Lachey, this one-of-a-kind series invites 30 of America’s most musical families to battle it out on stage for the chance to win a $250,000 cash prize and a recording contract with Republic Records.

Grammy Award-winning global superstar Ciara, who also acts as executive producer of the series, digital media sensation David Dobrik and singer-songwriter, record producer and actress Debbie Gibson, make up the shows all-star judging panel with the power to make one family’s musical dreams come true.


Over the course of 12 hour-long episodes, and one half-hour special, a wide variety of talented and diverse families of two or more relatives who perform together, ranging from a father/daughter duo, sibling groups and a 12-member multigenerational brass ensemble, will attempt to wow the judges with their musical renditions in hopes of being crowed America’s Most Musical Family!
