Zim envia sondas ao planeta Marte para ver se o planeta é de alguma utilidade para o Império Irken. Quando as sondas enviar fotos traseiras de estruturas de aparência artificial, Zim and travel GIR a Marte para descobrir o que acabou com a vida que construiu as estruturas e possivelmente usá-lo para destruir os humanos.
