In a very surprising move, Nickelodeon programming is becoming available on Netflix in the U.S.! The news comes after Viacom removed Nickelodeon programming from the platform several years ago in a dispute over carriage fees.
Nickelodeon programming currently available on Netflix seems to be limited to older shows from the network's library, such as 100 Things to Do Before High School, Bella and the Bulldogs (season one), Victorious (3 seasons) and Sam & Cat (season one), and well as made-for-TV movies Hey Arnold! The Jungle Movie, Big Time Rush Big Time Movie, Jinxed, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello’s Library, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Liar, Liar, Vampire, The Boy Who Cried Werewolf, The Massively Mixed-Up Middle School Mystery, and The Fairly OddParents - A Fairly Odd Summer, and theatricals The Rugrats Movie, Rugrats In Paris and the iconic Good Burger.
They join Pinky Malinky, Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling and Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus.
There’s more to come too including animated The Loud House and Rise of the TMNT films and the Avatar: The Last Airbender live-action series.
Although Nickelodeon programming had been missing from the U.S. version of Netflix, Nick programming has still been available on international versions of the streaming service, including in the U.K. Nickelodeon programming is also available on Netflix Canada through a partner with Nick's Canadian distribution partner, Corus Entertainment.
