A seven-strong team from Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products (VNCP) is set to take on the UK National 5 Peaks Challenge next month!
Mark Kingston, Senior Vice President (SVP) international licensing, Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products (VNCP), along with six other members of the international team and 20 other Viacom colleagues from across the wider business, are attempting to complete the challenging National 5 Peaks Challenge between Wednesday 11th - Friday 13th September 2019. The team is raising much-needed funds for the MTV Staying Alive Foundation, which is celebrating its 20th year.
The UK National 5 Peaks Challenge is one of the toughest events that can be undertaken in the UK & Ireland, and involves climbing the five highest mountains in Wales, England, Scotland, Northern Ireland & The Republic of Ireland. The challenge covers a total of 64kms and involves ascending over 5,300 metres in less than 72 hours.
The brave seven include (pictured above left to right): Natalie Hill, Emma Maloney, Mark Kingston, Katie Ball, Charlie Pilcher, (front row) Dominic Sander and Alexandra Salisbury.
Speaking about the challenge, Mark commented: “Any contribution would be amazing, and would help raise essential funds for a great cause. Many thanks in advance any support that can be offered, and yes – I am a good +10 years older than the next oldest member of the team attempting this challenge!”
The MTV Staying Alive Foundation is an incredible organisation that fights against HIV globally, funding innovative youth-led programs and producing ground-breaking content for young people around the world. Find out more about the amazing charity here: http://www.mtvstayingalive.org/
