In additional news, BOOM! Studios will be bringing the heat to New York Comic-Con 2019 with another action-packed Power Rangers panel focused on its highly successful line of comic books!

Officially titled ‘Power Rangers: Necessary Evil’, the panel will be geared entirely towards the comic book publisher’s popular story arc that shares the panel’s same name.

On hand will be Ryan Parrott and Sina Grace, the writers of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers comic book series, in addition to Daniele Di Nicuolo, the artist of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic book series. The duo will be accompanied by Steve Cardenas and Karan Ashley, the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers actors who portrayed Rocky the Red Ranger and Aisha the Yellow Ranger respectively.

Moderated by Jim Viscardi of ComicBook.com, fans can get excited for fun surprises in store for everyone in attendance.

Power Rangers: Necessary Evil is a new storyline where the White Ranger made his long awaited debut into BOOM! Studios’ comic book line. The comic book publisher promises that Power Rangers: Necessary Evil will eventually change everything you think you know with a shocking reveal. The original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers team of Jason, Billy, Zack, Trini, Kimberly, and Tommy all return and deal with the fallout of Power Rangers: Shattered Grid.

The storyline also introduces the Omega Rangers. The team is comprised of three Rangers, all of whom are familiar faces: Jason Scott, the Red Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Zack Taylor, the Black Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, and Trini Kwan, the Yellow Ranger from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

The Omega Rangers debuted in BOOM! Studios’ Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #40, revealing that the trio never left the Mighty Morphin team to go to a Peace Conference, but instead to become Omega Rangers on a covert mission.

BOOM! Studios’ ‘Power Rangers: Beyond The Grid’ panel will take place on Saturday, October 5 at 11:00am in Room 1A24.

NYCC will take place from October 3-6 in Manhattan, New York.
