Following launch, new episodes of Corn & Peg will continue to premiere to air Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00am on Nickelodeon UK & Ireland's top-rated preschool channel. Each episode will encore the same day at 2:00pm and 4:00am.
In Corn & Peg, the pair of inseparable best friends are inspired by their favorite superhero, Captain Thunderhoof—champion of all do-gooders—to make a difference and help the residents in their colorful equine community of Galloping Grove. Together, Corn and Peg are the dynamic duo of doing good, always putting others before themselves and believing that doing good feels good.
In the series premiere of Corn & Peg, “Bownanza/On the Ball,” Corn and Peg volunteer to watch over and tidy up Miss Sassy's unorganized shop. They have some excited customers to help along the way! Later, Corn and Peg do the right thing and search the town for the rightful owner of a super cool bouncy ball.
The US-English dub of Corn & Peg features the voices of: Jaiden Cannatelli (Blue's Clues & You, PAW Patrol, Degrassi: Don't Look Back, The Adventures of Napkin Man!, Odd Squad) as Corn, Shechinah Mpumlwana (Dot.) as Peg, Julie Sype (3 Amigonauts, Cupcake & Dino: General Services) as Captain Thunderhoof and Ava Close (Wishenpoof) as Clarissa.
Corn & Peg made its world premiere on Nickelodeon USA on Monday, March 4, 2019. Following its U.S. launch, the series will now roll out on Nickelodeon’s international channels and branded blocks throughout 2019. Nickelodeon renewed Corn & Peg for season two in April 2019. The series also airs on Treehouse TV in Canada.
Corn & Peg is produced by Nelvana Studios in association with Nickelodeon Productions.
Corn & Peg is based on a animated Nickelodeon Preschool short of the same name made in 2015. In the short, the role of CORN was voiced by Colin Critchley (Nickelodeon's Leyendas del Templo Escondido TV movie).
