In the video, above, Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy), Roger Bumpass (Squidward) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton) wished the “Thank U, Next” singer a happy birthday as their respective characters. Plankton, who screamed “I will destroy you, Ariana!”
“Anyway, Ariana. We just wanted to say ‘Happy Birthday.’ Thanks for being a fan for so long,” Kenny says in the black-and-white clip. “And I know that… you’re part of the Nickelodeon brother, sisterhood. So, we’re here, man.” The rest of the voice-actors then conclude the clip with “thank you, next.”

Ariana is a huge SpongeBob SquarePants fan. When the singer isn’t crooning the lyrics to tracks off her "Thank U, Next" album, she can be found delivering a soulfully inspired rendition of the Krusty Krab pizza song, as seen in the “Pizza Delivery” episode, as well as the classic, "This Grill Is Not a Home".
SpongeBob SquarePants is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, and Nickelodeon will kick off the "Best Year Ever" with "SpongeBob’s Big Birthday Blowout" on Friday, July 12 at 7 p.m. ET/PT, which will feature for the first time the celebrated voice talent behind SpongeBob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Sandy, Squidward and Plankton playing live-action doppelgänger versions of the animated characters they voice! The special will also feature an appearance by David Hasselhoff!
