With the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles's 35th celebration and the Dark Knight’s 80th anniversary both coinciding this year, there’s no better time to be Turtle or Bat fan. Not only are fans getting an epic final installment of the TMNT/Batman crossover from James Tynion IV and Freddie Williams II (out now!) and the Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated feature (released May 14), but Nickelodeon USA will be treating fans of the Dark Knight to the network premiere of LEGO Batman: The Movie -- DC Superheroes Unite on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 8:00 p.m. (ET/PT)!
In LEGO Batman: The Movie - DC Super Heroes Unite (2013), an award party for Gotham City's Man of the Year, Bruce Wayne, quickly descends into chaos when the Joker crashes the scene with a full gallery of rogues at his side. With help from the Riddler, Harley Quinn, the Penguin, Two-Face, Bane and Catwoman, the Joker steals the award, along with money and gems. But Batman and Robin capture them all.
An award party for Gotham City's Man of the Year, Bruce Wayne, quickly descends into chaos when the Joker crashes the scene with a full gallery of rogues at his side. With help from the Riddler, Harley Quinn, the Penguin, Two-Face, Bane and Catwoman, the Joker steals the award, along with money and gems. But Batman and Robin capture them all. Meanwhile, trailing in his run for president, Lex Luthor breaks the Joker out of jail to produce a gas that will make voters love Luthor. In return, Luthor gives the Joker a device that can defeat Batman by dismantling all his gadgets and vehicles. As Lex destroys Batman's tech, Batman reluctantly turns to Superman for help. Unfortunately, the Joker also knows how to produce Kryptonite. With jailbreaks, chases, exploding pies, a giant Kryptonite-powered Joker robot, two superheroes taking a city bus and finally a visit from the rest of the Justice League, it all escalates to a prolonged battle to stop the Joker from taking Gotham City apart "brick by brick"!
