Viacom Forms Its First OTT Linear Collaboration in Myanmar with Cookie TV

MTV Asia, MTV LIVE HD and Nickelodeon linear channels to debut on Cookie TV

MYANMAR, 10 JANUARY 2019 – Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), a division of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIA, VIAB), today announced its first OTT linear collaboration with leading digital services provider Cookie TV in Myanmar. This will see the debut of Nickelodeon, MTV Asia and MTV LIVE HD on an OTT platform in the country. All three linear channels will be available on the Cookie TV app, in line with the official launch of the app today.

Cookie TV brings Top-notch Global Movies and TV Channels to Myanmar via Innovative Mobile App-based Service

Thousands of movies from Hollywood and Korea with both Myanmar and English subtitles, and the world’s most renowned international channels with a catch-up service are ready to entertain, educate and inspire Myanmar audiences in January.

YANGON, 10th January 2019 – Cookie TV today launched its mobile TV that streams live TV and movies on demand.

Cookie TV is a mobile TV that allows the viewer to watch live TV and movies on demand anytime and anywhere.

The Cookie TV App can be downloaded on the Apple App Store (for iPhones with iOS 10.0 or above) or the Google Play Store (mobile devices with Android 4.4 (KitKat) or above).
