Triolan in the Ukraine to Add Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Spike to EPG on Monday 1st October 2018

Triolan, one of Ukraine's largest internet providers, has announced that it will be adding Viacom International Media Networks' (VIMN) leading children's channels Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. and entertainment channel Spike (with is one of the few foreign channels which broadcasts with a Ukrainian soundtrack) to its IPTV service on Monday 1st October 2018, through its partnership with 1+1 Media Group, one of the largest media conglomerates in Ukraine!

44 Cats is one of Rainbow's most anticipated shows. The brand-new animated series is set in the world of animals, and is set to debut on Rai Yoyo in Italy on Monday 12th November 2018, airing everyday at 19:05, followed by an international roll-out, including on Nickelodeon channels around the world, in 2019.

44 Cats is the first Rainbow Group production jointly produced in collaboration with Antoniano Bologna and Rai Ragazzi. Combining great music and edutainment with high quality animation, it follows the daily adventures of Lampo, Milady, Pilou, and Meatball – four adorable kittens who are part of a music band named The Buffycats. The protagonists live in the Clubhouse, a garage beside old Granny Pina’s house. Their adventures explore the themes of friendship and altruism: the four cats love helping others and always find creative solutions to everyday hitches by dealing naturally with important themes like tolerance, diversity and acceptance, which helps teach these positive values in an amusing way.

44 Cats is inspired by the very popular Italian kids song "44 Gatti", which, in 1968, won the 10th edition of the Zecchino d'Oro and has since entered the collective imagination of Italians.

Rainbow, together with Nickelodeon Latin America (Latinoamérica), is working on a brand-new live-action series, which is currently in production: Club 57. The series is a entertaining and adventurous television series, which draws a strong inspiration from the musical and legendary '50s. The series will debut on Nickelodeon and around the world in 2019. In the show, the protagonists will suddenly find themselves catapulted into the past, where they will share their dreams and passions around Club 57, a TV show in which musicals are organized in perfect 50's style. Emotions, music, love, family and friendship are just some of the main themes of the TV series, which will help convey all the energy and values of those fabulous years to today's kids. All the songs in the series were composed by Argentine Ricardo Montaner (with some sung in Italian). Club 57 boasts an international cast and the series will be shot between Miami and Puglia where, among other things, will be the setting of the grand finale, which will be full of twists!

Finally, news about the young stars of the hit TV series Maggie & Bianca Fashion Friends, who are returning by popular demand to the main stages of Italian theatres, following the huge success of the first tour which began in 2017 in Florence and ended in March 2018. The show sold out in 14 cities, with out 50,000 tickets sold.

This year, Nickelodeon will be hosting the 14th annual Worldwide Day of Play. Nickelodeon’s WWDOP is an annual event designed to encourage children and parents to turn off the television and play, especially outdoors.


Join us at The Children’s Museum on this exciting day to let your imagination run wild with all of our fun exhibits and activities! We strongly encourage you to get out and:

- build an epic fort
- balance on the beams
- hula hoop
- experiment with balls and ramps
- dig in the fossil pit
- create natural art and more!

Museum staffers will be on hand to help facilitate activities in our Wild Place!


The Museum became the first children’s museum based Nature Explore Classroom in Massachusetts after receiving national certification from the Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundation. Nature Explore Classrooms are part of the Nature Explore program, a collaborative project of the Arbor Day Foundation and Dimensions Educational Research Foundation. The classrooms, which are being developed across the country, offer interactive elements such as musical instruments made of natural materials, garden or pathway areas and natural materials for building and creating art. Children who learn and grow in Certified Nature Explore Classrooms enhance concentration, develop creativity and problem-solving, relieve stress and improve skills in many areas of development.

Worldwide Day of Play is Nickelodeon's summer-long play campaign, a slime-filled cross-country tour that celebrates all the ways kids love to play.

On the ground, Nickelodeon will celebrate with over 4,000 events hosted by local and national partners including: Afterschool Alliance; Boys & Girls Clubs of America; Girl Scouts of the USA; Kiwanis International’s Builders Club and K-Kids; Laureus Sport for Good; National Fitness Foundation; NFL PLAY 60; Playworks; Police Athletic League; Special Olympics International; The Aspen Institute’s Project Play; The Association of Children’s Museums; US Play Coalition and USA BMX. Additionally, the network will launch two new grant programs in partnership with Laureus Sport for Good and National Fitness Foundation in honor of Worldwide Day of Play’s 15th anniversary.

Nickelodeon will commemorate Worldwide Day of Play on-air on Saturday, September 29 with interstitials featuring cast members from Nick’s hit series I Am Frankie. The interstitials, which highlight the importance of physical play in kids’ lives and encourage them to get outside and get active, will air across all Nickelodeon platforms.

In addition to hosting nationwide grassroots events with its partners, the network will also mark Worldwide Day of Play with the launch of two new grant programs in partnership with Laureus Sport for Good, funding underserved communities’ afterschool programs, and National Fitness Foundation along with DonorsChoose, which will fund in-school activities. Both grant programs aim to bring fitness and play to kids across the country.

In May, Nick kicked off its summer-long play campaign, a slime-filled cross-country tour which visited: Phoenix, Ariz.; St. Louis, Mo.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; Houston, TX and Oakland, Calif.; for Worldwide Day of Play events in partnership with the Children’s Museum of Phoenix; The Magic House, St. Louis Children’s Museum; the Pittsburgh Steelers; Commissioner Rodney Ellis and Harris County Precinct One; and the After-School All-Stars, the Oakland Athletics and the Oakland A’s Community Fund.

The tour culminates in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park on Sept. 15, with Nick teaming up with Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City’s Walk for the Kids. The fun-filled event will feature appearances by stars from Nickelodeon’s hit series I Am Frankie, Alex Hook, and Carson Rowland; Nick-themed games and activities; a slime booth; costumed characters; a Nick Radio dance party and more. The network will be joined by longstanding partners including: Canine Companions for Independence; Jr. NBA; KidTribe; MLB “PLAY BALL;” New York Red Bulls; NFL PLAY 60; Peppa Pig and George; Playworks; The Muddy Puddles Project; Tough Mudder’s “Mini Mudder” and USA BMX; and new partner Nike.

Nickelodeon is expanding Worldwide Day of Play’s reach through a new partnership with Mini Mudder, Tough Mudder’s one-mile Mud Run designed for adventure-seeking kids and consists of eight to ten fun and challenging team-focused obstacles. In celebration of Worldwide Day of Play, Mini Mudder will add a brand-new Nickelodeon-themed “Slime” obstacle to its courses, providing kids with the opportunity to be physically active while also having fun.

Lincoln Loud from Nickelodeon's hit animated series The Loud House is actually a quiet character, who prefers nothing more than to relax in his bedroom reading his favourite comics whilst chilling in only his underwear, whilst he hides from his noisy family - his parents and ten (!) annoying sisters! Throughout the series, Lincoln often turns towards the camera to tell the audience how he survives everyday life in the Loud House. So, if anyone has presentation skills and life experience, its Lincoln Loud! That's why Lincoln will have the honour of being the first animated character to host Nickelodeon Austria (Österreich) and Nickelodeon Switzerland's (Schweiz) brand-new Chillzone programming block, in which he'll not only present the links in between shows, he'll also get his very own Fan Mail special, in which he'll read questions, do requests and review fan art sent in by Nickelodeon viewers!

ANIMATIONS-CHARAKTER LINCOLN LOUD MODERIERT DIE “CHILLZONE” BEI NICK UND BEANTWORTET FAN-FRAGEN

Lincoln Loud aus Willkommen bei den Louds ist eigentlich ein ruhiger Charakter, der am liebsten nur mit Unterwäsche bekleidet seine Comics liest und dabei seine laute Familie – Eltern plus zehn (!) nervige Schwestern – ausblendet. Dabei wendet er sich oft direkt an die Zuschauer und erzählt, wie er den Alltag in eben diesem irrelauten Haus überlebt. Also, wenn jemand Moderations- und Lebenserfahrung mitbringt, dann Lincoln Loud. Darum wird er als erster Animationscharakter im deutschen TV auch nicht nur die “Chillzone” zwischen den einzelnen Episoden moderieren, sondern auch ein Fanpost-Special, in welchem er Fragen und Wünsche der Nick-Zuschauer vorlesen oder ihre Bilder zeigen und kommentieren wird. Die “Chillzone” läuft immer montags bis freitags von 17:20 bis 18:40 Uhr und liefert dem November einige Highlights:

- Am Montag, dem 5. November startet die 3. Staffel der Animationsserie Willkommen bei den Louds. Die neuen Folgen laufen ab dann immer wochentags um 17:20 Uhr und läuten die “Chillzone” ein.

- Am Donnerstag, den 15. November ab 18:15 Uhr feiern Die Thundermans ihr Serienfinale mit einer Doppelfolge, damit alle Fans den Abschied von der chaotischen und liebenswerten Superhelden-Familie, vor allem aber von Phoebe und Max, richtig zelebrieren können.

- Direkt im Anschluss um 19:05 Uhr startet die brandneue Serie Knight Squad. Es geht um eine magische Schule im Königreich Astoria, wo angehende Ritterinnen und Ritter ausgebildet werden. Dort schliessen zwei sehr unterschiedliche Schüler, Arc und Ciara, einen Pakt, um ihre Geheimnisse zu bewahren und ihrem Traum vom Leben als Ritter zu folgen.

Die letzte Novemberwoche wartet mit dem Lincoln Loud Fanpost-Special auf.

Viacom Asia and Purpose Media Launch Nickelodeon's First TeenNick Branded Block in Vietnam

VIACOM INTERNATIONAL MEDIA NETWORKS AND PURPOSE MEDIA INTRODUCE NICKELODEON’S FIRST TEENNICK ASIA BRANDED BLOCK IN VIETNAM



VIETNAM, 28 SEPTEMBER 2018 – Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Asia, a division of Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIA, VIAB), today announced a new Nickelodeon branded block deal with Purpose Media, which sees the launch of the first TeenNick branded programming block in Vietnam today. It also marks the first time TeenNick is introduced in Asia.

Catered for teens and tweens, the one-hour weekday evening branded block on free-to-air (FTA) HTV3 DreamsTV channel will air daily on weekdays at 8.00pm – 9.00pm. The TeenNick-branded block is expected to feature select Nickelodeon’s live-action dramas and sitcoms dubbed in Vietnamese in the first year of its availability, including Nickelodeon’s hit series I Am Frankie, Hunter Street, WITS Academy, Supah Ninjas and Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide.

“The introduction of a TeenNick branded block is an exciting extension of the Nickelodeon brand in Asia, which has already seen success in other parts of the world. We hope to deepen our audience engagement with young fans who are growing up with Nickelodeon, while allowing us to showcase some of Nickelodeon’s live action dramas and sitcoms for the first time in Vietnam,” said Paras Sharma, Senior Vice President (SVP) and General Manager (GM), Southeast Asia, Viacom International Media Networks.

The TeenNick block rollout is part of VIMN’s ongoing efforts to increase Nickelodeon brand awareness in Asia. The company signed a multi-year content deal giving China’s iQIYI exclusive streaming rights to Mandarin- and English-language Nick shows in Mainland China.

The media conglomerate also recently expanded its collaboration with Indonesian mobile operator Telkomsel to launch a Nick Jr. channel in the region, as well as partnering with Mall of China developers Jiayuan Group, China Creation Group and Triple Five Group to co-develop Nickelodeon’s first indoor theme park in Chongqing, targeting a 2020 opening. The park will feature 14 hit properties, including PAW Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Dora the Explorer.
