Invader Zim fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of their favorite would-be world conqueror ever since Nickelodeon announced in April 2017 they were developing a new TV movie for the diminutive Irken. Now the wait is nearly over, after he finally made a crash landing at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con with the first look at new artwork and footage for Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus.

At a panel hosted by Nerdist's Hector Navarro, show creator Jhonen Vazquez and original voice cast members Richard Horvitz (Zim), Rikki Simons (GIR), Wally Wingert (Almighty Tallest Red), and Kevin McDonald (Almighty Tallest Purple), reunited to discuss the history and best moments of the cult classic TV series that originally debuted on Nickelodeon in 2001. They also offered some insight into what cans can expect from the new movie, which will find the normally overly confident Zim experiencing self-doubt leaving him vulnerable from his greatest foe. The event was topped off with a sneak peek at new character artwork and the first footage from the film.

It might be short on dialogue, but it’s big on excitement.

Pittsburgh Steelers to Welcome Back Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play at Second Annual Family Fest

Pittsburgh, PA - The Pittsburgh Steelers will host Family Fest at Heinz Field on Sunday, August 19. The event will run from 5-9 p.m., and admission is $10 for all fans. Neighborhood Ford Store is an Associate Sponsor of the event.


Tickets for Family Fest are available now via Ticketmaster.com.

Activities for Family Fest will take place outside on Art Rooney Avenue beginning at 3 p.m. and continue throughout Heinz Field in the FedEx Great Hall, the Ford Fan Zone and the West Concourse. This year’s Family Fest will welcome Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play that will feature a number of activations, including a slime booth, Nick Wave, Nick Bowling, Nick Tac Toe, Connect the Dots, Neighborhood Ford Store and a number of other family-friendly activities.

Fans will have the opportunity to take a photo next to all six of the team’s Lombardi Trophies in the FedEx Great Hall and meet Steelers alumni. In addition, fans can enter for the chance to win sideline passes to view practice from field level, a signed practice jersey from a Steelers player, or a trip for four to Super Bowl LIII in Atlanta.


Prior to Steelers’ player introductions before practice, a Parade of Champions March with Special Olympic Athletes, First Responders and members of the military will take place on the field.

At the conclusion of the event, fans can enjoy a special Zambelli Fireworks display.

The event will include a number of on-field performances by the Steeline Drumline, Bill Camp’s Frisbee Dogs, and other surprises. Steelers Alumni Tunch Ilkin and Craig Wolfley will provide analysis from the Steelers Ford F-150 truck on the east sideline during practice.

Steelers Nation Unite will be recognizing a group of winners from this year’s second annual SNU Fan Awards, which honor some of the top fans from around Steelers Nation. The winners will be recognized on the field and on the scoreboard prior to the start of practice. Steelers Nation Unite members will also have a chance to score on-field experiences throughout the night. Worldwide Day of Play is Nickelodeon's summer-long play campaign, a slime-filled cross-country tour that celebrates all the ways kids love to play. As part of the net’s Worldwide Day of Play (WWDoP) initiative, the tour will bring activities to events in Phoenix, Ariz.; St. Louis, Mo.; Pittsburgh, Pa.; Oakland, Calif.; and Brooklyn, N.Y., leading up to Nick’s 15th annual Worldwide Day of Play on Saturday, Sept. 29, when Nickelodeon and its sister channels–Nick Jr., Nicktoons, TeenNick and NickMusic–will suspend programming and host grassroots activities with its partners across the U.S. to encourage kids to go outside and get active.

On Sept. 29, Nickelodeon will commemorate its 15th annual Worldwide Day of Play celebration on-air when the network airs interstitials featuring cast members from Nick’s hit series I Am Frankie. The interstitials, which highlight the importance of physical play in kids’ lives and encourage them to get outside and get active, will air across all Nickelodeon platforms.

Worldwide Day of Play was created by Nickelodeon in conjunction with its “Let’s Just Play” campaign. The annual event is designed to encourage children and adults to turn off the television and play, especially outdoors.

Steelers, Nickelodeon Teaming Up For Heinz Field Family Fest

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Steelers begin training camp on Wednesday and one of the highlights of the preseason is certain to be the second annual Steelers Family Fest. The event occurs Aug. 19 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Heinz Field, but the fun begin earlier along Art Rooney Avenue outside the stadium.

This Steelers have teamed with Nickelodeon for this year's festival. The children's network will provide Nick-themed games that will include a super slime obstacle course, a slime booth, Nick bowling, costumed characters and more. In addition to the Nickelodeon activities, there will be a fan zipline experience, face painting and the obligatory appearance of team mascot Steely McBeam.

Fans entering the stadium will receive a scratch-off card with a chance to win sideline passes to go onto the field as the 2018 team will be introduced out of the player tunnel to begin the evening's events.

In addition to the full team on-field practice, Family Fest will include Bill Camp's Famous Flying Dogs, on-field performances by the Steeline Drumline and one lucky fan winning a trip for four to the Super Bowl. The festivities will conclude with a Sunday night Fireworks display.

There also will be the chance to get your photo taken next to all six Steelers' Lombardi Trophies in the FedEx Great Hall and meet Steelers Alumni in the Ford Fanzone. A 50/50 raffle will be held to benefit Youth Football.

EL PASO, Texas - Nickelodeon’s popular animated preschool series Sunny Day is headed to El Paso-area Walmart stores starting on Monday, July 23!


The Sunny Day Tour brings the show to life in select Walmart parking lots across the country with a wide array of family-friendly activities and giveaways inspired by the show.

The free interactive experience is inspired by Sunny's background in beauty care, with hair styling, nail art and temporary tattoo stations. Giveaways will also be available, as will photo ops with characters from the show and other activities.

Nickelodeon brings hit animated preschool series 'Sunny Day' to El Paso

EL PASO, Texas (CBS4/KFOX14) — Children in El Paso got to be part of Nickelodeon's hit animated preschool series "Sunny Day."


Trucks with the "Sunny Day" logo pulled into the Walmart at 1850 N. Zaragoza Road, in far east El Paso, on Monday.

The Sunny Day Tour brought the show to life in the parking lot with family-friendly activities and giveaways inspired by the show.

The public got to participate in giveaways, hair styling, nail art and temporary tattoo stations, photos with characters and interactive play tables.

The characters in the series celebrate individuality and self-expression, while the show's social-emotional curriculum highlights leadership, innovative thinking and teamwork.

The tour will be stopping at the Walmart at 10727 Gateway Blvd. in east El Paso from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesday at 7101 Gateway Blvd. near Cielo Vista Mall from 10 a.m. to noon.

Nickelodeon's pro-social initiative celebrates kids' love of play, highlighting the importance physical activity, and encourages the whole family to take part in creative and imaginative sports and games in a safe environment.

Worldwide Day of Play was created by Nickelodeon in conjunction with its “Let’s Just Play” campaign, and has since become a worldwide movement which goal is to encourage a healthy lifestyle, balancing watching television and playing video games with taking part in traditional leisure activities.

Taking place for the first time in Bogotá, Colombia, Día del Juego Colombia 2018 invites kids aged between 1-14 years old to to take part in a wide variety of games and activities spread across two zones, the Nick Jr. Zone for younger viewers, and the Nickelodeon Zone for older viewers.

The many fun-filled games and activities on offer will include sports games inspired by popular Nickelodeon shows, including Las Tortugas Ninjas (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), Bob Esponja (SpongeBob SquarePants), PAW Patrol, Shimmer and Shine, and Nella, Una Princesa Valiente, and arts and crafts stations. There will also be a "Bus Noggin" attraction.


In addition to the games and activities, fans will also have the change to meet and greet their favourite Nick stars, including Bob and Patricio from Bob Esponja, Shimmer and Shine, Las Tortugas Ninjas, Dora La Exploradora, and Chase and Marshall from PAW Patrol

Los Polinesios to Host Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards México 2018

Nickelodeon Latin America (Latinoamérica) has announced the exciting news that YouTube phenomenon Los Polinesios as the hosts of Kids' Choice Awards México 2018!


Los Polinesios is Latin America's most successful YouTube trio, boasting more than 60 million followers on their official social media pages. The trio is currently on tour, with performances completely sold out in Mexico, Chile, Colombia, Peru, Spain and the United States.

Los Polinesios (The Polynesians) are no stranger to Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards. The three siblings, Rafa, Karen y Leslie, have garnered many awards throughout their career, including three coveted Kids' Choice Awards Orange Blimps (two in Mexico and one in the US/international edition edition of the awards).

This year also marks the first time that Kids' Choice Awards México will have three presenters.

In addition to hosting duties, Los Polinesios have been nominated for "YouTuber Cómico Favorito" in this years Kids' Choice Awards México, the ninth annual Kids' Choice Awards México.


Nickelodeon’s 2018 Kids’ Choice Awards México celebrates kids’ favorites from the worlds of film, television, music, sports, pop culture, animation and digital entertainment.



The recipients of the Orange Blimps of Kids' Choice Awards México will be chosen by the fans, who are able to vote for their favorites across 21 categories online at KCAMexico.com, via the Nick Play app (available to download for free on iOS and Android devices), and on Twitter using the hashtags below. Fans can vote as many times as they wish to support their favorites.

Voting for Kids' Choice Awards México will close on Friday 17th August 2018. Nickelodeon will then reveal the winners of Kids' Choice Awards México 2018 at a star and slime-studded ceremony held at Auditorio Nacional de la Ciudad de México, which will air on Nickelodeon Latinoamérica on Tuesday 21st August 2018 at 20:00.
