'Henry Danger' Season 5 To Begin Production Soon

Mike Caron, the first assistant director on Nickelodeon's hit superhero-themed comedy series Henry Danger, has revealed on Instagram that Henry Danger season five will commence production very soon!

At the moment, its unknown who will be taking over as showrunner for the fifth season Henry Danger, following Dan Schneider, who co-created the show, departing the network earlier this year, however, its speculated that Christopher J. Nowak, who serves as a executive producer on the series, will be taking over the reigns.

Henry Danger follows the adventures of Henry Hart, who, three years ago landed his part-time “dream job” as Kid Danger, superhero sidekick to Captain Man. A lot has changed since he popped his first super-bubble, but his mission still remains the same: protecting the citizens of Swellview from mad scientists and giant toddlers, all while keeping his super identity a secret! But fighting crime and finishing your homework isn’t easy. Luckily he doesn’t have to do it alone! He’s got an awesome squad to help him solve his super-powered problems. Villains, beware!

Henry Danger stars Jace Norman as “Henry Hart/Kid Danger;” Cooper Barnes as “Ray/Captain Man;” Michael D. Cohen as “Schwoz;” Riele Downs as “Charlotte;” Sean Ryan Fox as “Jasper;” and Ella Anderson as “Piper Hart”. Henry Hart’s animated exploits as Kid Danger will unfold in Nickelodeon’s newest series, The Adventures of Kid Danger, premiering on Nickelodeon Scandinavia on Monday 4th June 2018 at 17:00 on Nickelodeon Norway (Norge) and Nickelodeon Sweden (Sverige) and at 19:05 on Nickelodeon Denmark (Danmark)! The 10-episode series follows the heroic Kid Danger and Captain Man as they embark on brave new adventures—battling bizarre criminals and super villains with their sharp wit and amazing crime-fighting skills. Following its debut, new episodes of The Adventures of Kid Danger will continue to air regularly weekdays at 16:15 on Nick Norge and Nick Sverige, and weekdays at 15:45 on Nick Danmark.

Prior to the episode, viewers can watch the brand-new Henry Danger episode “Toon In for Danger” at 16:40 on Nickelodeon Norge and Nickelodeon Sverige and at 18:40 on Nickelodeon Danmark. In the episode, when Henry and Ray get a copy of the new Kid Danger and Captain Man cartoon and see that there’s trouble, they must hurry to fix the cartoon before the big premiere party. Olympian Shaun White guest stars as himself.

The Adventures of Kid Danger is locally titled Faredrengen på nye eventyr in Denmark, Kid Dangers Äventyr in Sweden and Kid Danger på nye eventyr in Norway.

The half-hour animated series, based on characters from TV’s number one kids’ series Henry Danger, will reveal brand-new areas of the superheroes’ headquarters for the first time, including the Man Cave tube system, which propels the crime fighters into adventure; and the Man Hanger, filled with crime-fighting vehicles and gadgets used on missions.

In the series premiere, "Popcorn Monster", when Ray and Henry’s cloning experiment to create two identical pieces of popcorn accidentally creates the Popcorn Monster, it’s up to Captain Man and Kid Danger to take it down. Next in “Game of Drones,” Ray says he doesn’t want to enter the Swellview Drone Dash because Dr. Minyak always wins, so Schwoz hatches a plan to shrink Kid Danger and have him pilot his own drone. There is only one place in the magical land of Astoria where the young and fearless can train to become elite warriors - Knight School! Meet Ciara, the fierce and competitive star student who is hiding a colossal secret - she is the royal princess in disguise! Things only get crazier at school when Arc, a cocky and streetwise outsider, strolls in with a pretty big secret of his own.

This unlikely pair will have to team up if they want to become legendary knights. NICK JR. ADVENTURE CENTRE SET TO TOUR THE COUNTRY THIS SUMMER

For the first time ever, the Nick Jr. Adventure Centre will immerse family shoppers in a world of play with Blaze and the Monster Machines, Nella the Princess Knight, PAW Patrol, Rusty Rivets and Shimmer and Shine themed stations.

London, 31^st May 2018 – This summer, throughout June and July, join and play with Nick Jr. favourites in the special Nick Jr. Adventure Centre as it visits select Asda, Tesco and Smyths stores across the country.

Kicking off on Saturday 9^th June in Thurrock, Nick Jr.’s Big Five properties Blaze and the Monster Machines, Nella the Princess Knight, PAW Patrol, Rusty Rivets and Shimmer and Shine will each have dedicated play stations in the Adventure Centre.

From a Nella the Princess Knight themed transformation game, PAW Patrol Chase race, Rusty Rivets lab and Shimmer and Shine wishing station – there’s something for everyone to enjoy on the day.

Attendees are encouraged to share their photos from the day on Instagram with #nickjradventure to be in with the chance of winning one of 10 PAW Patroller toys up for grabs.

Activities in the Nick Jr. Adventure Centre are as follows:

Blaze Axel City Garage

• A thinking challenge for kids and family members using the different wheels to reach and turn Blaze’s in order to fire up his engine and set him off

Nella Friend Match Transformation

• A two player game where participants choose to be either Princess Nella or Nella Knight and take it in turns to match the character pairs
• Participants then spin the Nella pictures to transform from Knight to Princess, for a fun face-through photo opportunity

PAW Patrol (2 Activities)

1. Help Chase solve a puzzle by navigating the roads to reach HQ in PAW Patrol Chase Race
2. A fun game where participants help Marshall rescue Chickaletta from the roof by building a ladder for him in PAW Marshall Rescue

Rusty Rivets Lab

• A branded Rusty worksheet containing 4 different pre-cut robots that kids can stick together to create their very own rivet robot!

Shimmer & Shine Wishing Studio

• Kids and grown-ups can get creative in a glitter studio by playing with glitter tattoos, making a wish and leaving it on a wish wall

Mattel Greenlights 'Thomas & Friends' Season 23; To Premiere In 2019

Mattel has greenlit a new season and several specials for Thomas & Friends that will premiere in 2019!

The new series will consist of 20 11-minute episodes and three 22-minutes specials, and continue the classic themes of exploration and discovery while adding new locations and friends from around the world to the growing portfolio on the series. This brings the Thomas & Friends library of content to more than 550 episodes.

The greenlight for season 23 comes after revamped series 22 has been signed up by broadcaster’s Nick Jr. (USA), Channel 5's Milkshake (U.K.), ABC TV (Australia), Televisa (Mexico), TV Cultura (Brazil), and Super RTL (Germany).

It is currently unknown whether the twenty-third season of Thomas & Friends will air on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. in the USA.

To better portray diversity, the series got an update for its 26 x 11-minute 22nd season, entitled Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! that will take Thomas beyond the fictional Island of Sodor for the first time. The major refresh will see the iconic blue engine Thomas traveling farther than ever before, taking kids on a journey of wonder and curiosity as he adventures around the world to discover and learn about new countries and cultures. The show has a more contemporary feel, a brand-new theme tune and a refreshed Steam Team to include three girls and three boy engines, and Thomas, ensuring gender equality across the show, increasing global appeal for preschool viewers. This all-new format series will feature faster-paced action, increased humor, new music, new international friends, animals and exciting fantasy elements.

As part of the 22nd season, Thomas will also be embarking on an ambitious trip around the world, leaving Sodor for the first time in the action-packed, feature-length film, Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! The Movie, which is set to premiere on Nick Jr. USA soon and in cinemas across the UK on Friday 20th July 2018.

Thomas the Tank Engine was created more than 70 years ago and that story quickly grew to become the award-winning No. 1 preschool train brand franchise it is today, selling one engine every second, enjoyed by families in more than 160 territories and more than 55 languages across multiple touch-points and formats.

Other big Thomas news in the past year was that the series switched tracks and moved from its longtime US broadcast partner PBS to Nick Jr. USA in March, while Nickelodeon became the brand’s exclusive US licensing agent.
