The Drama Desk Awards has announced the Sponge-Tastic news that Nickelodeon's smash hit
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical has received 11 in the 63rd Annual Drama Desk Awards, which will honor the best of New York theater during the 2017-18 season!
Presented by TheaterMania, the winners of the 63rd Annual Drama Desk Awards will be announced at 8:00pm on June 3, 2018 at a prestigious ceremony at New York’s Town Hall.

-- SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical has been nominated for three Theatre awards in the 2018 Chita Rivera Awards (formerly the Fred and Adele Astaire Awards)! The awards, named after the stage legend (set to receive an honorary Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre Tony Award this year), honor choreographers and dancers on Broadway and Off-Broadway stages, as well as in film. Awards will be presented at the May 20 ceremony at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts following a nominees reception April 30.
