If the Ninja Turtles are known for one thing, it's their love of pizza. NRS has shown a great attention to detail in Injustice 2, with unique strings of dialogue between characters, Easter eggs, references to the comic books, and much more littered throughout the game. It seems the same goes for the Ninja Turtles.
"Caution: Toasty!!!"
The first screenshot features what appears to be Raphael holding a box of pizza in what is either one of their intros or the win screen. The side of the box prominently displays a caution sign that Mortal Kombat fans will undoubtedly recognize.
The second image shows two of the turtles fighting against Black Manta. Boon's message accompanying the screenshot says, "teamwork."
Update (2/2): Ed Boon has posted again on Twitter. This time he has provided a animated GIF that showcases what appears to be Raphael's idol animation. The clip features Raphael showing off a little bit, which can be seen below:

In their reveal trailer, the line "we fight as a team" is said, implying that players will be able to use multiple turtles in battle. Fans haven't seen how it'll work yet, but the above screenshot seems to further cement that theory.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are the final character (they all count as one) in Injustice 2's Fighter Pack #3, with the expansion package also including the likes of Enchantress and Atom. Considering the game's DLC release schedule so far, it is likely that they will be released sometime this month. Previous Fighter Packs have somewhat loosely followed a formula when it comes to the characters being included, with two fighters having their origins in comic books, while the third and final figure came from the Mortal Kombat universe. Bearing this in mind, it’s cool to see NetherRealm shake things up a bit with all of Fighter Pack 3 having characters who made their debuts in comics.
